Niqashna – Freedom of Speech in Kuwait: Is more needed?

Niqashna is a platform for open debates that was launched early last year. Every few weeks they discuss an interesting subject and tonight they’re debating freedom of speech in Kuwait. The debate is in Arabic but the Q&A will be in both Arabic and English. If you’re interested in attending (its free), you can get more details [Here]

I think the question wasn’t aimed at us, I presumed it’s the title of the debate, that maybe the reason why people didn’t answer. My second view is also that people aren’t exactly interested cause there isn’t much to hate on (not till you arrived at least) which is why nobody commented. Lastly your comment literally went against itself because your talking about people not able to express their opinion about no freedom of speech and yet that’s what your comment just did. To my understanding you haven’t been dragged into a black suv and interrogated. It would seem as though you just expressed your views on the levels of freedom of speech which is a topic you claim “none dares to answer” with no negative consequences… your point is invalid.

Lol, be it the title or a real question, it still remains to be answered.

Expressing an opinion about if you think you have “freedom of speech” is different than EXPRESSING that freedom.

Would you or anybody in Kuwait will express his “opinion” about ANY negative issues concerning your ruler?

I doubt that.

Mark learned his lesson when he expressed his “opinion” why he did not like Benihana’s food.

Well personally I don’t have nothing against him, he’s stabilising the country. If not for him those bastards in Parliament would turn Kuwait into the next saudi. Parliament and the government are both equally as corrupt with no intention of developing their country, just developing their own Swiss bank accounts.
