Pattaya Beach which many people consider to be the best Thai restaurant in Kuwait is opening a second location. Their new store is going to be in Salmiya, right next to Al Bustan Mall [Google Maps]. I think their current location in Kuwait City in the old travel agency complex along with the shop design helped make the place feel unique (along with the food of course), so I’m curious to see how the old charm translates into a new location.
No idea when its opening but you could follow them on instagram to stay posted on their progress @sahil_pattayaq8

YeY!!
Pity I no longer live in Kuwait!
Should I be happy about it?
Yes, I would say that is something to be very happy about. Congratulations Sir!
According to the owner, this branch should be open late Jan this month, or early Feb max 🤘🏻
On a related note, ‘Rustic’ is a Thai restaurant in Salmiya with great food too.
It was in Salmiya. They moved to Maidan Hawally a while ago…
I thought “Rustic” was an Indian restaurant.
Maybe I just thought that cause it was located in Little India…..
nope its thai

Is it good bro?
I always liked its exterior.
Tried it just once…was good but overpriced for the quantity being served.
It’s more about packaging which I highlighted to them about.
I’d prefer Phuket Thai (value for money) or then Thai Chow King (taste over quantity)…
I think they’re the best Thai in town right now – both price wise and quality wise. I loved the place in Riggae but the couple there have left. Then I shifted loyalties to U-boat yes they are amazing. But I sampled Rustic by chance one day and never went elsewhere after that. Anyone saying they’re overpriced is being ridiculous.I think they’re cheap unless you’re comparing them with Ramen cups from the jamaiya. Ubon is a notch below because of the price.
Rustic Thai is pretty good but it doesn’t really have dine-in option. Its good for take away & delivery however, their delivery sometimes takes very long.
I would also suggest you to try Oriental Cuisine in Kuwait city near Holiday Inn. Mark every reviewed the place around 6 years ago…. https://248am.com/mark/personal/review-oriental-cuisine/
Another nice place is Sabaidee Thai…. https://248am.com/mark/personal/review-oriental-cuisine/ but they are not vegan friendly.
Yes, but they still continue to do delivery in Salmiya.
Can it match Phuket Thai in Salmiya? That is my go-to place for anything Thai.
