Seedless Watermelons

Anyone know where I can find seedless watermelons in Kuwait? Dean & Deluca used to carry them like three years ago.

Actually if I use the juicer I can keep the seeds in but I want to use the blender for a thicker watermelon drink and for that I need to remove the seeds which I hate doing.

That’s kinda like using the juicer and with the juicer i can just throw it all in even the outer shell and it will turn it into juice

You choose to live in Kuwait, hence, no seedless watermelon and no e-gate and no metro and no new airport and no decent national carrer. You have to fly to Dubai and put it in your pushcart and carry it in the country. Did I forget, no good fruit. Who’s fault? Hmmmmmmmm……….

Yes, too much drama, but I always say that even in the quality of fruit this government has failed the country – yes – I am saying fruit now is political. I happened to go to Dubai and fill my suitcase and pushcart full of fruit and vegetables not in the market here – I do this first hand and it is alot of drama. My friends the Emiritis, almost took my sour cream, but were really nice and let me go with a bottle of salad dressing. 🙂

P.S. to aaa – Jazeera is a failed carrier. They go down to one flight a day during Ramadan, you either want to be competitive inthe market or run a 1/2 a**ed carrier – VERY poorly run!

OMG, where do I begin? The quality is MUCH better to begin in the UAE, but I have to carefully pack them so they don’t get ruined in my pushcart. I brought in LARGE succulent peaches from Tunisia, large yellow cherries (fabulous!, all sorts of berries which in all fairness you can get in Sultan Centre if you beat the crowd, but the quality of the berries are better in the UAE, as far as vegtebles, I brought in really good quality broccoli from Spain, yellow carrots, fresh spinach, and kale (I have never seen in Kuwait) Another item that is grossly over-priced in the KWT market is fish. The price is MUCH cheaper in the UAE and a better selection. Alot of fish from Oman, but I don’ think I am going to put fish in my pushcart anytime soon. I also bring in alot of healthy items like gluten free crackers, etc that are not in the market. The Kuwait market is very over-priced with no government controls like in the UAE. Yes, food is political.

Lol seriously is this what it has come to

Also the fruit we have here is honestly pretty good, I like Lebanese fruits. A lot of the fruits in the US just taste bland.

Also Jazeera is alright

“no good fruit”
I agree with the seedless watermelon but as someone who has been living in the US for ages now fruit in Kuwait is better and cheaper than the US. I spend a fortune to eat healthy in Murica.

Most of the food you eat at this point is genetically modified, MENA doesn’t have laws saying you have to label it GM

Mark you can get bags of frozen fruits specifically made for blending including seedless watermelon in sultan center

Last year I found baby watermelons at LuLu Hypermarket in Al Rai or is it Shuwaikh..lol…

Anyway, the seeds are very sparse/thin and would easily blend into whatever you are creating.

As for unique fruits and vegetables this particular LuLu has a really great selection to choose from and is much more affordably priced than Sultan Cntr. They also sell Pom juice and Chobani yogurt which are RARE finds in Q8

It was well known in Israel more than 10 years ago, I guess they made something with its genes.
