Rumor: Abercrombie & Fitch coming to Kuwait and the Middle East

Earlier today I was told that Habchi and Chalhoub are currently in negotiations with Abercrombie & Fitch to bring them to the region. The Chalhoub Group already have a bunch of popular brands in their roster including Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Saks Fifth Avenue, Lacoste, Celine and Marc Jacobs so it would be realistic for them to get the brand although I always imagined Alshaya bringing them. I’m actually interested to see how the brand will adapt to the region but my guess is there won’t be much of an issue. For now I’ll leave you with the video above of the A&F guys lipdubbing “Call Me Maybe” while I go do a thousand sit-ups and starve myself. [YouTube]

its really just shirts and polos, not something that goes out of style. But if you mean it’s not cool anymore to be walking around the avenues with a large A&F logo plastered on the front of the shirt then thats a good thing.

the employees will take their store allowance that they are supposed to use for their work attire and buy the fake shit around the corner!

Do a 2000 sit-ups and fast for a year, still not getting there my man. Told you we’re getting old ;p

so A&F is already opening up in Jordan? I tried googling and didn’t find any kind of information or press release which would be very odd for a big thing like that. Could be a fake A&F opening.

So I guess this means either that store at the Freetrade Zone that sells A&F will have to lower their prices or close the doors.

Actually A&f is coming and MAF is brining them to the region. They are going to open a HUGE shop in Dubai which will have around 200 staff.
