Al Shaheed Park Phase 2 officially opened yesterday and just in time before the weather got too hot for outdoor activities. The new extension includes a parkour area, a miniature new Kuwait, a miniature old Kuwait, a multipurpose youth complex, tree top climbing obstacles, board and interactive games area, an open air performance center and a skate park. Just like phase 1, phase 2 is open daily from 5AM to 10PM. For more details, check out the Al Shaheed Park on instagram @alshaheedpark

Mark i wish to see a like and dislike button in your blog….
i don’t need people critiquing every post of mine, let me just blog whatever i want.
At least let us down vote the shit out of other people’s comments 🙁
Does it have an entrance fee or free?
Al Shaheed Park doesn’t have an entrance fee, it’s a public park.
Thanks
Where is it in relation to phase 1? Can you get there by walking from phase 1?
its the same park so yeah you can walk to it from phase 1
Timing is 05AM-12AM as per their instagram account
There Phase 2 post says till 10PM but their profile says 12AM. Confusing as fuck. https://www.instagram.com/p/BSyXJnVBDFT/
We need parks like this EVERYWHERE!
Are they still closed till 1 PM on Fridays?
On the side note – What is the timing of ‘Salmiya Boulevard Park’?
We tried to go last Friday early morning at 6:00am, it was closed.
I think you went a bit too early. I have been there once in the morning, I think around 8-9 AM.
Boulevard park Salmiya Opens at 8:00am
I had no idea Shaheed was open at 5 AM
I had no idea 5 AM existed as a general concept though
Quite a few morning joggers
Thanks for posting about this. Visited a couple nights ago and was a wonderful experience with live music at several locations. Enjoyed the large areas of grass for sitting in front of the fountains.
We could not find the parkour area and the volunteers there did not have any idea about it either. Don’t really see a parkour area fitting into the current ambiance there.
I haven’t been yet but planning on doing so soon
Are you sure there is a skatepark there
Hi …
I’m planning to take a group of 8 children, wanted to know if the rides for the children are chargeable ?
Thanx
Is there really a skatepark
No
ayo man can we skateboard there?
