as far as i know, US airspace is not affected by the volcano. Nice try, Aramex.

The ipad is shipped from the US. Aramex uses Kuwait Airways, which flies to Kuwait directly from New York.
S, using that one way flight would be very costly for Aramex, their shipments usually stop at Europe before coming to Kuwait.
my package shipped from my UK mailbox on the 19th, it got shipped to belgium then to czech republic and now to DXB! :/

Nats friends friend in the states bought it for me and shipped it to my mailbox
Same way I shipped mine, had a friend buy it for me and ship it to my mailbox in the states.

Since the skies would be 100% open by thursday, the iPad would arrive my Sunday, do the unpacking pics and if possible the video too 🙂

3G is only pre-order so it would be with wifi
I had ordered stuff from Amazon.co.uk and it got stuck in Germany for 3 days. However, the shipment left yesterday and it reached Kuwait today.
Thats good to know Cajie, so maybe the delays have lessened by now.

@S. You do realize that in order to get from New York to Kuwait, you have to fly over European airspace. You simply don’t fly across the Atlantic, you fly the shortest distance from the East Coast to Britain in the North Atlantic then fly across Europe to the Middle East. It is highly unlikely they would fly directly to Kuwait as there are also mailboxes in the UK where they would have to pick up packages too. It is much more efficient that way. /rant
Well with DHL as of this moment. In 3 days it managed to go from Ohio to Germany. And it left Germany today so there doesn’t seem to be much of a delay anymore.
Aramex is shit, with or without volcanic ash.
And just to confirm there are absolutely no delays with DHL. Believe it or not my 2 shipments are in Bahrain now.
I have ordere 6 things from US
all of them arrived only one item which it’s Iphone it’s as aramex said (( LOST ))
so it came all the way from US and when it comes to kuwait customs it becomes Lost!!!
That’s why we will be for ever a third world
