Because of the Arab Summit, some roads are going to be closed or diverted tomorrow and Wednesday (March 25 and 26). Kuwait Times created a map of the different roads closed and you can check it out by clicking [Here]
Thanks Abeer

Do you know what time the roads are closed in the morning and what time they will reopen?
Mark do you know how i can get to the airport from salwa if the roads are closed i am confused
no idea
But will there be a way to the airport open , i got a flight on the 26th :S. I better take a taxi . Thanks btw for this post now i can atleast go early to be on time.
It’s based on who arrives at the airport, there is no certain time. I had fun trying to leave alzahra tonight, gave up and stayed home.
yeah, 4th, 5th and 6th were packed bumper to bumper. Ended up heading to Shuwaikh from Salwa via the gulf road.
Thank you. As expats we rely on this blogsite for this type of information, since the Kuwaitis feel we are not worthy of information. I would think that delegates would be helicopters to the Palace to this event? Everyone in the GCC understands the lack of development here and everyone knows about the lack of road development which is causing the traffic problems, at least one of the factors causing the traffic problems. This country is not set up for these types of events, it should have been held in another country that is more set up for this type of event and this is the third summit in a short period of time.
I guess the Kuwait Times, and English newspaper is ought to be well read across the expat community – that is where this map came from.
My employer blocks the website.
Do you not have internet outside of work
if this place is so undeveloped why are you working here? find somewhere you’ll be happier 🙂
The US Embassy issued two notices.
No 2-day holiday this time 🙁
I think the appropriate authorities realized that closing things simply put MORE people on the roads.
Will it be a day off in schools and work?!
I hope the summit ends with fruitful outcomes with all these road blocks!
