if you think this looks great, wait until you have an opportunity to fly in on an after sunset flight. al hamra looks fabulous from the sky!

What’s the point of a flag and of all the decorations when the country is going down hill , and us citiziens are just give everyone else some fuel to burn it

But when you give people to options , living with no rules , no conquences and to them have a “happy living ” they will chose that then , living with rules and with order and having a normal life,,

If you know what I mean

Also as a kuwaiti I honestly need to say 2 things that I think will slove this chaos

1. We are not up for Democracy, meaning we can’t handle it

2. Something I’m not allowed to say do to the rules I respect about what I have a freedom of speech of and what I don’t .

But ill give u a three will I’m here ,,

There is a aya or hadith that means , god won’t change something in a populition till they change within their selves ,, (about the same meaning)

You can change parliment or anything else in that matter and say it will get better when your not willing to change

Unrelated example , the no talking on the phone will driving became a law to insure safety , but over 3/4 people in kuwait didn’t follow it cuz they just didn’t feel like it ,
How are u gona insure safety when the people themselves just don’t want it

You can blame all the things on the parliment when all of us voted for those specific people to be parliment members

I’m not gona say more cuz I probably bored everyone for how long this comment is and probably to a lot of people I don’t make sense

Well let me answer the third part of your question with your example of people on phones while driving.

This isn’t because people don’t follow the rules, it’s because the rules aren’t enforced which is why people aren’t following them. I know it sounds similar but it really isn’t.

I’m not an expert just a regular joe but I think there needs to be a shake up and revamp of the local police force. We have rules like every other country and like every other country no one wants to follow the rules. But this is why you have the law and the police, to scare you and force you to follow the rules. If you don’t follow the rules then you are punished. We lack that in Kuwait.

I swear to you the other day I was on the 40th driving just slightly over the speed limit in the middle lane and this car zooms by on my left going at the very very least 200km/h and there was a cop to the right of me and guess what? He didn’t do shit!

I’ve also seen people run the red light in front of the cops on the Gulf Road and again they didn’t do anything.

How many times have you seen people driving on the emergency lane? I’ve seen cars drive behind cops on the emergency lane, that’s how much people aren’t scared of the cops.

So why should people follow the rules? There are no consequences to breaking them so if a guy is in a hurry he’s going to run the red light.

Yah that was a bad example and I know what you mean cuz I believe in that to their is no enforcment to the law, but the problem the wa9a6 factor in this , I rarely see ppolice officers doing anything but what should they do when if they give a ticket to someone the day after the ticket will be removed and the officer that issuesed it will be yell at by the guy incharge of him and tells him do u know who he is or who is he related to ,,

So they say let me save the pain and just not ticket anyone

If u know what I mean

Who cares, do you stop eating your meal because of something that barely has an effect on your daily life? You have one life don’t stress out about it

Am glad someone really gives a damn about this country, while anyone can say that, i believe many doesn’t,

“i really love Kuwait, it’s peaceful country, people are kind and generous, its a safe place, you may leave your car open with your wallet inside and nothing happens to it, you can go where ever you want when ever you want with people smiling at your face, i worked in other countries and gulf countries, but Kuwait the the Gulf’s pearl”

An Expat – 1986

i bet if anybody is staying here now for any other reason than money, this is valid for all expats except those who has NO any kind of life outside Kuwait.

going down hill is a one valid expression, take education for example, am not going to say how bad it is, but some mistakenly thinks that if you bring back the old kind of teachers, it will fix the thing, it won’t.

See, supposing Islam is religion of justice, and i believe Kuwait’s religion is Islam, thusly, Kuwait applies justice.

if any body gets a job in western countries, and start to work there freshly along with it’s citizen, they’ll both be treated equally according to their skills and behaviors, this is not the case in gulf countries, that’s why teachers now are working without conscience as long as he/she is not being fairly treated; you can apply this theory to all sectors, public and private.

am not optimistic about the near future, but i wish Kuwait stays still, and pick up the pieces of chaos and corruption and be a minaret of reform to the rest of the Arab and Islamic worlds
