This product by Zippo is perfect for the current cold weather since its made to keep your hands warm. I think two of these would be perfect since you could shove each one in a pocket and then put your hands in and wrap them around the warmers. I don’t know if they sell them in Kuwait but on Amazon it goes for around KD5 without the lighter fluid which makes it Shop&Ship friendly.

a pair of well insulated gloves or wool pockets should do the job

they are selling hand warmers or whatever you call them at Brands For Less (opposite NBK salmiya) for 0.500 fills. its the gel type contained in a plastic bag. sort of like the bag when you donate blood. inside the bag there is a coin and when you fold the coin, the liquid will crystallize and will start to get hot. you then put it inside the wool cover.
it will last for about 30minutes.
to reuse, just put it in boiling water for 10minutes or until the substance turns to liquid again.
its almost the same size as the iphone but a bit thicker.
they sell those at sultan center. too boring a tech and not something you would want to be seen with.
Those zippo style warmers have been around for decades. I’ve had one a looong time ago, it was bigger, but exactly the same type. And there is nothing high tech about them. The gel stuff is way cooler, but less practical, unless you’re in an emergency freezing situation.
Ernesto: I think Zippo released their version in 2007 but yeah these have been around for over a decade. I think Zippo were just able to refine it and make it last a lot longer.

Mushroom, you don’t get it–the warmers you mention have three things against them:
1. They’re not Zippo/North Face/Columbia/Whichever trendy brand du jour
2. They’re about KD 4.500 too cheap
3. You don’t have to order them online from Amerrrrka and pay for shipping and customs

Zippo branded hand warmers have been around for at least 25 years – nothing new about the gadget at all. Mark, aren’t you Canadian? Why are you needing hand warmers when the temperature in Kuwait is so warm (relatively speaking)? Canadians walk around in sandals, shorts and T-shirts when the temperature is -20 C. I saw that all the time when I lived in Canada. Don’t you have anti-freeze in your veins? Or are you a paper (passport holder) Canadian?
lol well I was researching this for my London trip. I don’t get cold easily, i am still wearing a tshirt (i wear tshirts all year round) and I still have the AC on in my office so I am trying to be Canadian lol
