I noticed they’ve started working on the signage system for the 1st Ring Road. It was previously scheduled to open last month but got pushed back once they realized they had forgotten to install the road signs.

The only way that an airport will get done in this country, as well as, any major development project, is that an experienced outside firm MUST be hired to build theses projects. AND not any western company that is already in Kuwait. Unlike Dubai which is a desired work environment, you will have to umbrella airline tickets out of Kuwait in their contracts, most likely to Dubai, in order for anyone of any value to work here. Kuwait is currently known as the land of incompetence, where the incompetent thrive and that goes for all nationalities. This country barely functions and sometimes looks like the back streets of Bombay. Look how happy government officials are in pictures when they are travelling overseas and look at them in pictures when they are in Kuwait. Ever noticed that? Sad!
What’s the big deal? It’s not like Kuwait’s motorists would have paid attention to them anyway
