I am traveling on Monday via Jazeera Airways to Beirut. I booked the tickets back in October before Jazeera started its first flight so no one knew how they would turn out to be. So far I have heard a lot of positive reviews on Jazeera. I heard the service is friendly, the planes are very clean, the seats are all leather and the in flight food being great. I also heard one negative review which I believe is just a rumor or urban legend. I heard that a lot of people are getting to the airport and finding their seats canceled. I doubt that is true and the person who told me this never flied with Jazeera. Anyway I will write up a short review once I get to Lebanon and post it online.

I wish you a good flight. To give you a heads up, the flight was indeed great (Gone once to Beirut and Back). The rumor about seat cancellations is just that, a rumor! However, they are very strict when it comes to the weight limit (20 KG NO EXCEPTIONS). The downside is that you pay 1.200 KD / KG + 2.000 to whatever your total overweight is.
Enjoy your flight 😉
thanks for the feedback, i heard about the weight limit and I WILL be over the weight so I am already expecting to pay extra :S
most people don’t seem to know this, but bottled water onboard is free. that’s pretty much all i need during a flight, so jazeera is cool with me.
its the best airline to fly to beirut comparing it to kuwait airways and MEA. its cheaper, cleaner, and surely better. The downside is luggage weight, slower flight speed and the 5KD penalty for any changes in flight date.
I hope you can tell us your experience with them
