Thanks for your info. It of big help to me and my family. Mark I would like to know more on the time factor when the parade carnival will start on 27th as there’s no time mention on any websites or news.

I would be very thankful for the same.

hey guys, I wanted to bring something to school tmrw to celebrate kinda, crumbs 7adda za7ma, knw any place else with good sweets I can get now to school tmrw?!

where is Anjifa Beach? and in what direction will the Sunday parade go on Gulf Road (towards Salmiya or Kuwait City)?

@mentabolism , thanks 🙂 just wrote the event’s schadual for them like Mark did cuz the PDF on that link sucks, it’s not organized and doesn’t have all stuff ..

I read about the releasing of the 5000, so I decided to check it out today. I’m Kuwaiti, and I love seeing things that make me proud of my country. Us being on a record was going to be amazing. So I went there with a couple of my friends.
As I walked closer and closer to the crowd, I started getting horrified. Not only were people catching the pigeons, but they were swinging them by their wings and stuffing them into black garbage bags. Little kids were kicking them around as if they were footballs. I’m ashamed of Kuwait. I don’t understand how people could be so heartless.

@ Sarah – Even I was horrified at wat was happening; I went around giving tips to kids on how to hold the birds gently… most of the birds cudnt fly as I guess they were caged for a long time… Ppl were mistreating those poor birds so badly.. I even saw a Kuwaiti young adult wring a bird’s neck.. But I wouldnt say I am ashamed of Kuwait because of this incident… I LOVE Kuwait…
@ Patrick – I dint get any poop on me..

why doesn’t the govt site give an exact time for the fireworks?
the bloggers and their readers have to believe what their sources are telling them…! hope its the right time! 😉

Tareq Elaryan just announced on the ‘weekend show’ that the Carnival tomorrow would start @ 3.30pm on the Gulf Road.
FYI 🙂

They were pigeons and it was a sad event for the pigeons. I’ve seen what people and children did with the birds take them home in bags. Not a good idea.
