American Eagle Outfitters

American Eagle will be officially opening tonight at 5PM at The Avenues. Mohammed Alshaya will be there for the ribbon cutting ceremony so maybe we can all go there and yell out “We want In-N-Out… we want In-N-Out… we want In-N-Out…”

Wish i was there šŸ™ you guys need to treasure Kuwait, for what it is and what it offers… you never know what you’ve got till its gone.. i study abroad and i cant wait to get back to my beautiful country.

Avenues is trying to have the worlds best brands in 1 place… and no other place has that ! yes its a slow process but thats normal for Kuwait.. but its happening !

Common to have pink berry, american eagle and PF changs all in 1 place!

Love ur blog Mark XD

i’m a dudette XD

I know where else can u find all of that in 1 place?? people need to quit complaining about Kuwait! i just dont think having it all in the avenues is a good idea! traffic was mad last time i was there and phase 3 is not open yet! they should spread the good stores around Kuwait maybe 360 marina or fanar! they will soon be haunted

i love this shop.. hope to get the same prices on the web šŸ˜›

im going not to get shopping there šŸ˜€

Re: stores in 360 “coming soon” – I have been waiting and waiting for the Coach store to open in 360 (the one brand I actually will spend more money on). Since I was waiting for so long, I contacted Coach International, and the reply I got from them was that the Coach store is on-hold due to franchiser financial issues, and will not be opening in 2010, if at all. I wonder how many other shops in 360 that are “coming soon” are not.

OMG I can’t wait! American Eagle is like my favorite store EVER!!!! It’s the only store I really, really like shoping at back in the States.

I wonder how they do in a major retail downturn. Avenues is too crowded with 90% of the crowd going in for a walk. Go to oxford street in London and u get bumped by shopping bags every 2 secs. If Alshaya doesnt care then by all means bring on all the brands in the world !

I was there last night wearing an AE shirt I got for the *un-inflated* price. I had a good chuckle.. šŸ˜€

Their prices are excellent when you compare it to the states! There isn’t really a difference in the prices. Some t-shirt are 5, other are 6 and 9 kd. They’re pretty good. And the polo shirts are also pretty good, 7.5 and 9 kd. Not a bad deal.

ok. what I saw was over. I mean what the hell?? I thought for a second they’re giving clothes for free!!

I mean why the hell all of kuwaiti people are SO interested in it THAT much, I was passing by and it was shocking to see that scene.

oh man. this is going to be pinkberry for clothes.

This weekend AE was so fully of people it looked like chabrat tomate with people grab clothes and throwing them back.

Come on now! Smeone on here is expecting online prices at the store? Yeah right! This is Al Shaya we are talking about! Don’t some of you remember what the prices were like at Tommy Hilfiger when it was open? Thank god I have APO! KD8 for American Eagle jeans and maybe a KD1 shipping. Or if you order more than KD14, shipping is free. Or how about this, the newest Nike’s I have costs about KD60 here. Online or at the Navy Exchange in Bahrain I got them for KD35! Talk about price gouging! Enough said! Honestly, my wife and I hardly retail shop here anymore!

I totally Agree with you that its more expensive sometimes to buy stuff from here, but not all of can have an APO address ;P

So, if there is anyway you can help us to get one…

PLEASE TEACH US HOW

with best of regards

I have an apo too thank goodness, otherwise I would never have come to live in Kuwait.

It’s really the kuwaiti public’s job to rise up and formally complain to their government about the outrageous price gouging that often plagues all sectors of their retail.

Never underestimate power in numbers.

Not a fan of AE, their clothing is very lame bas I know everyone in Kuwait will love it simply because it’s “American”.

Sigh.

An In-N-Out would be awesome though!

In-n-Out anywhere away from the West Coast of the U.S, would take an act from the man upstairs! We would have better odds at getting a Chick-fil-a here than In-n-Out Burgers!

DUDE..in-n-out @ kuwait.. IN YOUR DREAMS.. haha
man 1 reason im still trying to take my time here in cali and not graduating is cuz of in n out.. LOL.. im doing all i can to fail..i think they really have some sort of drug in it…
them burgers are ADDICTIVEEEE!!!!!!
