Hey – does anyone here want a nice, loving yet playful, cat? I have to get rid of my cat because my baby was born a preemie and is in hospital still, and has weak lungs. I emailed both PAWS and Animal Friends and got no response. My husband says when we find out when baby can come home, if cat doesn’t have a new home, he will take it to Wafrah and just leave her on a farm – baby comes first, of course. She is short-haired, white with a few blotches of black, and very spoiled! She has had first shots (she is about 1 year old – I rescued her from a little boy who was abusing her) but is not spayed yet – I would give someone the money to get her spayed if they take her. She would come with her accessories – food dishes, litter boxes, carry-box, scratch post, bed, and toys toys toys! Please – help me find her a new home, she is such a nice kitty! (PS – Sorry Mark if this isn’t the place to post this, but I am getting desperate! All my “cat-people” friends have already rescued cats and don’t have room for more!)

Why don’t you give your cat temporarily to one of your friends until your baby grows up a little and becomes more immune. Worse case you could also have her board at one of the hospitals ( either royal clinic or IVH)until you can have her home again.
