I just found out today that if you dial 135 you get the Consumer Protection Department. You can call them up if you think a retailer is cheating, false advertising or whatever and complain to them.

Sorry to pull up an old post, but I wanted to know, is there a site or number (other than 135) where I can complain against fake advertisements, overcharging against marked prices etc. I am noticing too many companies in Kuwait fearlessly playing on slippery ground, unchallenged. Appreciate if anyone can guide.
I lost money with a tailoring shop. He guaranteed to stitch with our design and when he finished it become another design. I asked why this is different. I asked you to stitch this design If you can’t do it why you stitch this. I was paid the full amount at first. Now he is telling take this or else leave from there. He is not returning the money. What should I do? I can’t speak Arabic, so I cannot call the consumer number. Any suggestions, please…
