Husband forces wife at gun point
A Kuwaiti woman recently filed a complaint with the Farwaniya Police Station accusing her husband – who was armed with a gun – of forcing her to sign on a promissory note for KD 15,000, reports Al-Anba daily. The husband admitted to the charge saying she owes him the money. In a similar incident, an Egyptian man filed a similar case with the same police accusing a compatriot of forcing him to sign a promissory note for KD 1,000 under threat of using firearm. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti woman recently filed a complaint with the Jahra police accusing her ex-husband of kidnapping their children, reports Al-Rai Al-Aam daily.

Wife assaulted: A female Kuwait University student, recently filed a complaint with the Salwa Police Station accusing her husband, an employee of Kuwait Airways Corporation (KAC), of assaulting her. The wife has submitted two medical reports to substantiate her claim, reports Al-Rai Al-Aam daily.

3 Filipinos robbed
Police are looking for five unidentified persons for robbing three Filipinos in Jabriya, reports Al-Rai Al-Aam daily. In their complaint to police, the victims said the men broke into their apartment, beat them and escaped with KD 600, gold worth KD 1,500, and cellphones.

Drunkards beat Indian
Police are looking for four unidentified drunkards, who allegedly beat an Indian man and attempted to rape him at a wood scrapyard in Jahra after failing to steal his money, reports Al-Anba daily. The Indian man has provided police with the suspects’ car plate number.

Classmate stabbed
A headmistress of Taima Elementary School in Jahra took everyone by surprise by refusing to cooperate with the police to provide information on a schoolboy who had stabbed his schoolmate with a knife, reports Al-Anba daily. It has been reported the mother went to complain to the headmistress about the incident after getting a medical report stating her son had been stabbed with a knife. When she did not get a positive response from the headmistress, the mother had no option but to seek police help. However, when the police contacted the headmistress she refused to cooperate saying she did not want to get involved in problems with parents because it may damage the reputation of the school. No further details were available.

Injured youth dumped
An unidentified juvenile with clothes soaked in blood was recently dumped near the Adan Hospital by unidentified persons, who escaped in a small car, reports Al-Anba daily. The incident was witnessed by a cleaning worker who reported it to police. Police are waiting for the juvenile to regain consciousness.

Maid not paid for ‘sex’
An Indonesian maid, identified as Jessica, recently filed a complaint with the Jahra Police Station accusing her sponsor of having sex with her several times and not paying her although he had promised to pay for her ‘services’, reports Al-Rai Al-Aam daily. The sponsor will be summoned for interrogation.

Police vehicles damaged
Police are looking for a Kuwaiti man, wanted by law for committing financial crimes and damaging two police vehicles, reports Al-Rai Al-Aam daily. The wanted man saw two police cars parked in front and rear of his vehicle to prevent him from moving his vehicle, however, he allegedly damaged both the vehicles and escaped.

Iranian dies in crash
An unidentified Iranian died in a traffic accident on the Arabian Gulf Road, reports Al-Rai Al-Aam daily. The daily quoting an eyewitness said the man fell off a motorbike and was rushed to the Amiri Hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.
