Electrozan recently relocated to a new larger location a few buildings away from their original spot. I never passed by the old place since to be honest I hated the name and their logo and for me sometimes thats all I need to stay away from a place. Tonight though I passed by the new store and although I still hate the name and logo, I kinda liked the place.
They don’t have anything special electronics wise and the place isn’t really that big but what I liked about the place was the warehouse look. It reminded me a lot of Costco in the States except without the special offer on the 100-roll pack of toilet paper. According to a banner Electrozan had in the store, they didn’t spend money on the interior design because they wanted to pass on the savings to the consumers. Well I think more stores should follow in their steps since most places can’t get the design right anyway so they might as well just not bother trying and just do it like this, it looks wayy better than a lot of crap out there. Two more pictures after the jump.

Where is it located? I’d love to visit it. It looks interesting.
It looks like an electronics store in Pakistan which rhymes with Electrozan.
aham shay ena they have the otouch which is the itouch but much crappier and almost same design
Al-Rai, Al-Ghazalli Street – Next to Center point.
Is this store a part of Al-wazzan computer group?
Mark, I do agree with you on the design factor, the raw warehouse look was appealing. However, it was the ‘accesibility’ that bothered me.Once I browsed through the store, I wished to head back to the cellfones section at the front & for that I had to take the complete retour back.I couldnt access the 1st section by going ‘through’ the last one.So, the actual design has a major flaw-lack of accesibility.Albeit, the visual element is fresh perspective on electronics stores in Kuwait.(Plus the In House Ozzan products- Oh boy are they crap!)
Its good store. But thing is that if there is any Bohri gentleman in any purchase or marketing department… then God Bless that company. They dont bother to reply at any thanks email or after any meeting… & put everything on management shoulders.
God bless bohries & God bless Electrozan
Hi,
Any idea where did Electrozan go?
I heard that they’ve permanently closed. Is it confirmed?
