Well technically it is cultural, some of us might not like it but it is. Keep in mind there is nothing ghetto about living in Salwa.

heyy I was planning to go and compete in graffiti but i couldn’t 🙁
can any one who is going take some pix and videos if anyone could a lot of ppl would be thankful 😀

just got back from break da rules(wannabe)…..the graffiti was horrible…..who would want to see red bull written on the walls….nd there was a painting of a man wearing a glass(huh?!)…..there was a boy aged under 16 who freestyled better than the rest of the guys{B-boy ZERO}…..
all were doing the same moves and nothing you cant find in the movie “step up” or “you got served”….

HORRIBLE compared to the videos in youtube…..but the kid did well for his age…..the judge was just one guy….nd not the whole crowd…..

after the battle…..the “judge” would come up and lift his hand to the point where the “winner” is standing….and the crowd remains there motionless

They didn’t do too well, I was there with my brother and I have to really say that the lyrics were awfully constructed. What does shattering glass has to do with screams and pain. Also the dance moves was not synchronized as I expected it to be, plus much of it is copied off you tube videos or break dancing movies.

There was a guy with his children who was gonna give free styling a try but SPIKY ran to the Armani dude and told him not to hand him the microphone, because he was wearing a dishdasha.

Talk about the graffiti rules, you must draw anything that says or re-assembles a redbull, so basically creativity was limited down to a shillin.
