I got the following in my email:
Campus Activities Board, a university funded organization at the American University of Kuwait is creating a charity carnival to help children in need. Whether they have down syndrome or autism, are orphans or in foster care, or are disabled– this day is for them.
All the money from the tickets and all donations will be spent in buying toys and gifts for the children that were not able to attend. The week after the event will be to take volunteers and go to five of the centers here in Kuwait.
The Charity Carnival will include:
Carnival Games
Raffle
Art Corner
Prizes
Face painting
Pony Ride
Bouncy Castle
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory room with movie
Free Candy
Toys
and much morePeople are invited to bring friends and family to enjoy this day!
Tickets will be sold at the American University of Kuwait from in the liberal arts lobby from:

AUK hosts many of charity events, sometimes I wonder if the money they collect actually goes to “charity”.
No I am basing my allegations being an AUK student and knowing how their business works by now, they didn’t even mention to which organization they will be donating the money too, they just mentioned something too general about the “sick”. Plus when did I ever say anything about the poor kids not having the right to receive any donations? stop being a sensitive prick for no reason. I say whatever I want, last time I checked this was a free world so piss off!

I am entitled to my own opinion, plus what the hell do you want? I don’t give a shit if you’re bothered by what I said, I commented on Mark’s post, comment on the post, not on other comments. Plus if you carefully read what I wrote, I said “sometimes I WONDER”, I didn’t go around yelling “AUK STEALS YOUR MONEY, BE CAREFUL, THEY’RE JUST A BUNCH OF CROOKS!”
Seriously, you’re just making a big scene because of your sensitivity, how cute.
Where are these kids from?The ones receiving the toys and gifts?
The money goes to charity to help kids in need.. Students in AUK are organizing it, and no one is scheming to rip the unfortunate kids off. It should be a fun event for the whole family, so do your part and please spread the word! 🙂
Campus Activities Board would like to thank you all for your contributions towards “The Big Charity Carnival.” All of the donations and ticket sales amounted to: 1200 KD!
100% of this money will be divided among:

At the end of the day, we were able to reach our main goal: many children from some centers were able to attend and had a great time.
