Fire in my building

I was sitting at home watching TV when I heard sirens outside. They were getting louder and louder so I looked out the window and saw a bunch of fire trucks coming towards my building. I figured they must have taken a wrong turn but to my surprise the trucks started parking under my building and a crowd started to gather. I was thinking WTF? Their were 8 trucks, a cop car and an ambulance parked under my building so I figured something must be wrong. I took my camera and headed downstairs to see what all the commotion was about.

Once I got downstairs I saw the building keeper (haress) and asked him what was going on. He told me a store inside the mall (I live over a shopping mall) must have had a short circuit but there wasn’t anything to worry about. Fire fighters were running into the building with full gear on so I decided to take a few shots. Luckily the fire was put out quickly before any other stores caught fire.

7amdilla nothing happened! The guys were quick and thats good! My hat goes off to the fire department!

The alarms thing needs to be enforced by the fire department and baladeyah but they don’t enforce that!

Man that would’ve scared me. Glad you’re alright.

I agree with Marzouq. Kudos for the Firemen for doing what they do. Must suck being on call 24/7 AND risking your life, too!

Kha6akom el soo ” Thanks God that the danger have passed away” … “I heard sirens outside. They were getting louder and louder” i don’t know why this part reminded me of a previous experience but with an ambulance πŸ™‚

Nice shots! The second looks like a scene from a psychological thriller and the last looks like an action movie set.

Like I need more convincing, I’m definately getting the D80. I think I’ll get it with the 18-135 lens.

And, oh, salamat πŸ˜‰

I was watching ‘Zodiac’ when I heard the alarms! The commotion made it seem much crazier than it was though.
