Hehe I just bought my baby sister a mac mini 1.42ghz first generation, 256MB Ram and 80GB, for 150kd from Mac and More and it’s not that bad of a deal.
But yeah it’s a great experience, she’s 4 years old and in love with it completely.
I would jump on it .. but i don’t think they are powerful enough to do HD decoding; Matroska is a very cpu intensive.

I’ve got an older Mini with the 1.42 processor, runs great. I pipe it through my TV and such to play mp3s/downloaded videos.

I think Mac’s decision to put Core Duo’s in Macs is really going to screw up the resale value of 2nd hand machines for a while with non-Intel chips
