Our friends over at GulfRun are setting up a 26 hour endurance karting race. The race is going to be held on the 25th of November but registration has started already. Since it’s a 26 hour race each team is required to have at least 4 drivers or a maximum of 12. They’ll be building their own track in Kuwait City for this race which will be regulated by UK marshalls according to FIA regulations.

Not too sure if the carts will last a 26hr non-stop run.
Looks fun though. Will be there – either driving or watching.
The cart should be clean at least for marketing, it shows pro!!
We already signed up for a team! The carts are brand new Twin engine Honda Pro Kart for the 26 Hour race. They are being brought from the UK for the race with spare parts and their mechanics, part of the package when you register with your team. We haven’t gotten allt he details yet but I’m looking forward to it!

Wow, it looks like the event is drawing quite a crowd… And here I though it the entrance fee was expensive!
stupidest thing i’ve heard. even truck drivers have a limit of hrs allowed to drive until it becomes unsafe.
Thats why you have multiple drivers! You take turns and plan it out!

Each team has to have a minimum of 4 drivers and they aren’t allowed to drive more than 2 hours at a time.

There are multiple drivers, there has to be at least 4 drivers and a maximum of 12.
Frankly I think it will actually be easy if you get 12, all of them have to do at least 2 hours which isnt as bad as getting 4 drivers and having everyone spend at least 6 1/2 hours.
