Have you seen this guy before?

Shark of Kuwait

I was just checking out Frankom’s site when I found a picture of this guy above. If you have ever been to any of the popular malls in Kuwait you MUST have seen this guy atleast once. It seems he goes by the nickname Shark and you could usually spot his Blue vintage Bugatti or yellow T-Rex parked outside Starbucks in Salmiya opposite Fanar. I sometimes see him at Souk Sharq during my lunch break and Marina Mall during the evening and I always wonder if this guy has a job or not since he is always hanging out at cafes. there’s someone else i ALWAYS see, for 12 years!! always in salmiya malls or restaurants. he looks so much like Yanni. he even had long hair like Yanni before but not anymore. and he always wore a white shirt with black pants!! i always see him alone, never with company.

It’s so sad that there’s soooo many people like this Shark guy in the Gulf…It’s like they have no purpose in life except to show off and (probably) get off.

Yeah, I have seen this guy hanging out at Starbucks Fanar…I think he has a Harley or some other motorcycle too…and he does seem nice to kids I will give him that. But I have to say I personally find him a bit annoying and off-putting, because I find him a bit cheesy and overly suave( No offense!). Very show-offy. Always a turn off in anyone, male or female. Especially in the artifice of the Kuwaiti social setting.

Everyone seems to know and see this guy! He is like this fixture wanting to see and be seen…

One more thing guys .. if you just go to starbucks marina mall the outside area (smoking area) you’ll find another guy who sit just behind the wall with (gar3a) head and a little bit of hear infront of his head with a black shirt and casual pant (every 4:30PM to 6:30PM) sometimes more , depends on his friends also.

So pathetic, he is as same as my father age, and all what he does is being careless, he does not deserve to live, he is just a pain in the ass, get real dude and live good.

iam a junior student in university, MAN its weird to see a middle age man do this stupid things and be well-known for it !

hmm i think the main reason why he is getting negative publicity is the fact that he is a grown man, with a website, depicting him being some “tough strong man” flexing infront of zoo animals of all settings, and posing in Mercedes cars that are parked in the showroom/wakala for gods sake.

I have a feeling that the only car that is his is the 4×4 which looks like a tahoe or yukon interior… whilst the other cars were either his friend’s or showroom displays.

I lived in Kuwait for 1.5 years and I’m convinced that I saw this guy more often that ANYONE else in that country…dude’s everywhere I go…and he’s just plain weird…the car, the short pants, the bad hair, its all very 1980’s b muscle movie.

This guy happen to be a buddy of mine he is down to earth a harley fellow and works at the Kuwaiti Customs, this guy enjoys his riding and his bodu building if you have something negative to say about him say to his face instead of making stupid unwarranted accusations, remember the saying that goes assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

I think you people are just jealous. I don’t know him, but he seems like he just likes to enjoy himself instead of worry about kids or a job he hates.

You can all give you opinions, but try at least to stay respectuful. People can do whatever they want, and whether you think it’s cheesy or not, it doesn’t really matter. And whether he is gay or not it also doens’t matter what you think (that being the word…. it’s gay not fag…. remember…. stupid homophobic).

Interesting how some people’s first instincts are to mock and tear people apart. Welcome to Kuwait.

Yes, I have seen him around. When Sharq first opened, I couldn’t go to Sharq without seeing the guy at least once. In the past two years I’ve only seen him at Marina.

I know women who have slept with him (supposedly), so I wouldn’t say he’s gay, maybe bi but not gay. He thinks he looks like Steven Segal, loves Italy and everything Italian, takes frequent and long trips to Thailand, and the other stuff I’ll just keep to myself.

(I’ve never met “Shark” so can’t vouch for anything I’ve heard about him through acquaintances.)

Mark, I do not know the guy personally but for sure have seen him around malls just like other pals in here. I do not know whether he is kuwaiti or siciliani but it looks that he is living in Kuwait and most probably has middle eastern blood. It is a fact that we (middle eastern poeple) are emotional and most of the time take things personally. We all do not know anything about this guy’s back ground and i would be careful to post someone and make comments as such. I like you blog alot and dont want to see any potential personal conflict that might happen in the future. Kuwait is small and the words travel fast. My suggestion is to remove him from your blog, save the headache and enjoy life.

OB, if you read my comments I didn’t say anything negative about the guy. If anything I was defending the guy so I see no reason why I would get in trouble..

lol don’t talk about geo, he is going to be in trouble when i get back home. My mum took him over to her house and he pulled the table cloth from the dining room table onto the floor and broke her vase! He is in deep shit now lol

Guess who I saw for lunch today at starbucks souk sharq and yesterday at the Harley Showroom.
He seems a cool guy and I think he is Kuwaiti from his accent. He has a decent set of cars/bikes.
And I agree on the fact that I see him anywhere I go but I disagree on the calling him a looser.
He has more cars and bikes than anyone I know and he looks like he’s enjoying his life.

Last summer, Down Town Beirut, sitting down chilling at Haagen Dazs and this somewhat buffed up guy passes with an Italian grey suit , white shoes, white tie & shirt. With him were a bunch of people walking and everytime he passed near some people who were obviously from the Gulf area they would warmly salut him , we thought it was a prince or summat but he didnt look so , dayuuuuuum and we kept wondering the whole night as he strolled by us …..

I’ve been seeing him for years and I just saw him today at Marina Mall, he didn’t look at anyone. But he was sure looking for attention, he looked cool thou I admit it but hey If he wants fame then he should go and act or something than to spend the rest of his days between Shouq Sharq and Marina Mall and wasting his money on new cars and bikes, is he even married or does he go on living on the sluts of the DAY !! a guy at his age should at least have children by now (unless all those steriods and injections took that ability away).

Yep, I used to see him around all the time esp. at Starbucks. We had a special nickname for him which I can’t seem to remember now. Yellow is his colour. I think he used to drive a yellow car, maybe an audi lol!

and he is not the only one of his kind here in kuwiat !,BTW i dont think it fair to make fun of him in an international public forum ,however if he was so keen to be a celebrity (i.e posting your own private pictures in your personal web site talking about nothing ) than that i call “price of fame”.

He lives in sulaibikhat. His buggatti is fake.
aHe tells eveeryone that he’s Italian, when he is half kuwaiti half iraqi, HE LOVES OBESE WOMEN, i swear he’s into that, and i mean huge. He works for next to nothing in coastal tafteesh, he hasn’t finished even secondary school. He borrows money to go to Thailand every year. There’s nothing even remotely italian about this guy, belive me. he doesnt even speak english! Most of his friends are bedouins and bedouns, and petite criminals.

I dont’ live in Kuwait, but from what I read here, the guy just has a little harmless 80s decade nostaglia.

I met him twice through a friend and once in the old market in Kuwait city, he seem like a friendly guy talkative and a bit of a who of sometimes !!
