Its Cold

The weather in Kuwait actually feels colder then Lebanon although the temperature there is lower. I went to the beach yesterday with Geo and although I had a sweater and jacket on I still froze my ass off. Geo didn’t seem to care though, he was actually playing in the water most of the time.

Nat quit her job before we left on vacation, she starts her new job today. I think she will be posting about it in a bit or something. I start work again on Saturday so I need to take advantage of today and tomorrow. Maybe I will pass by the Zoo…

You wanna know how cold it really is, try shopping for a oil heater now. Yesterday, a friend asked me to help her shop for a heater. We first went to City Center ( as we had seen many there earlier). They were all out and only had some crappy coil heaters. Then we went to Safat Alghanim and they too were out. Ace Hardware was just a hop, skip and a jump away so decided to go there. Yup…u guessed it. They too were sold out. Then decided to go to Sultan Center in Souk Sharq as I used to go there frequently and I know I had seen some at the entrance. They too were sold out, but they had some halogen heaters available. Finally I decided to go to the Babtain shop in the city and I finally found just 2 pieces there. Snatched them both up. You really know its cold in Kuwait when u cant find any heaters.

Ro Alghanim in Salmiya was selling the heaters out of a truck parked on the back side because they didn’t have enough room inside for storage. That was around 3 weeks ago, they must have completely sold out, crazy shit.

Stafa, Rayboy and Fractal: She left her last job because the atmosphere had completely changed from when she had first joined the place and there is no reason why someone should work in a place if they are not happy there. Also her new job is a lot more exciting.
