LOL! took me sometime to figure this out! what a fail from my side 😛
technically they are correct, they didnt say “on your right” they said keep right, and if you view the poster as a person (not an inanimate object) with arms that is directing you toward the venue, it would point to the its right.
whats wrong with that? 😛
Yeah Keep Right…..Not that right…..the OTHER RIGHT! lol
I guess iBlooogle did this poster.. Since he is the only one with the justification to such work..
iBlooogle is absolutely correct…the pic is NOT wrong at all
well, if u give the poster your back, technically it is right?:P
what i said in a nutshell 😛
but, technically, the poster is an inanimate object…
If there has to be a debate whether a poster makes sense or not or is correct or not, it is probably a very poorly designed poster and not intuitive at all.
And this is regardless if it is actually right or not.
Blame it on the designer 😀
where is the love Kuwait?
and dont anybody say “to the right” !
😛
My Question is what is the poster about??
ha ha I can’t believe people are having serious debate about this. iBooogle I’m with you! Ha :o)
Iblooogle, sure if we give our backs to it ,it would be right but i dont think its possible to read the poster while you giving it ur bak:p so yes this is wrong cause they dont want people turning round to read it;p
nono not like that 😛
the poster is meant to be an informative person, lookin u in the eye.
remember how in biology when we took the human heart, and u had to draw it? blood was pumped out of the right side of the paper, right? coz ur heart is pointing forward, and the left side would be the right side on paper.
same principle here 😛
directions are meant to be clear, it takes a split second to decide ‘WHEN’ driving, another gray area is the orientation of arabic and english words , arabic word from right to left and vice versa when written in english, it was written in a mixture of arabic and english words… that makes it more confusing, nevertheless, it was thought provoking….
Mark, you work in advertising right? careful or these guys will jump on the “lets sue Mark” bandwagon for tarnishing their ad 😛
