Kuwait after World War III

Found this short film on YouTube, skip to the second minute since thats when the movie actually starts. The clip above is [Part 1], here is the link to [Part 2] and [Part 3]. Kinda makes me want to film my own B-rated horror with a cheesy title like Escape from Salmiya or The Shawerma Zombie. Anyone want to help me with the script?

I always wanted to do that. I just never found the right minded people. I do video for work so it’s right up my alley.

There are so many great, desolate, abandoned locations all around Kuwait. The previous wars provide lots of possible back material, like experimental Iraqi chemical weapons that were launched and land in some secluded desert area, found by some guys, one of who gets sick they then leave at night back home.

The car/van? with the infected person gets all wild and shit and runs into some old abandoned building. The other vehicles stop to investigate and then it’s all Resident Evil and shit as our heroes fight off zombie hordes of their friends with rocks, pieces of glass and 4 by 4s.

One hilarious scene should involve a dude bludgeoning one of the zombies with a obscenely old Nokia phone.

Not bad, could have potential, although shiny shoes and cars do not fit the mold, better than some other crappy production. Maybe just maybe Kuwait should start an entertainement based economy given the current economical woes.

what an aftermath. Everything is gone but there are 3 people left; 2 guys who own a hummer, and a maid that cleaned the hummer very well for those guys before they ate their meal at hardees and shot this movie.

but honestly, very well attempt

Are these comments serious? This is terrible. I must admitt not to have any relevant knowledge about the fine art of movie-making, but to watch this for 5 minutes is painfull. It’s in my humble opinion not even close to art-house or some related streamings. Are you sure you need a script for this? Nevertheless I hope you will surprise me with your production and wish you a lot of success! P.s. I’m from Holland where it’s free to buy and smoke grass. Even though it’s really not my thing, but may be these guys will appreciate it after smoking ( a lot) πŸ˜‰

This actually is very good… for a B rated movie πŸ™‚

I’ve seen much worse western horror movies production wise. This one is well shot and well edited, they probably didn’t write the music but suited the scenes nicely. It probably should’ve been shot with a better camera and later got a better colour grading… and maybe better actors (although they did well) and better script (although it is perfect.. for a B rated movie). And man, we seen much worse productions on arab TVs all the time!

marcel, this is considered a b-rated movie so judging by that standard it is actually good compared to movies of the same category.if you compare to actual “movies” then it sucks.

After reading the remarks on my comment I’ve watched the movie again. In all fairness the production itself has some promising features. For example the choices of the angle of the camera- and set. May be a little bit too much use of close-ups, but considering it now more as a kind of developing project, this effect chase is forgiven (or was it mend to be?) The acting might be well done, but can’t be really judged. May be because of missing an acceptable storyline and text. Lightning is good. B-rated or not; craftsmanship must obtain a certain standard of quality. I’m for sure interested in watching the next project. Always like creative initiatives.

I just saw the first part and liked it ! much better than some of the other home movies floating around. Although I think that shiny hummer sticks out like a sore thumb, could’ve used a beat up pickup truck instead.

Shisha Zombie: One Ma’alem’s forbidden quest for making the perfect shawerma, a shawerma as god has not intended, goes terribly awry when costumers who eat the delicious shawerma are struck with acidic face-melting birth and a cannibalistic urge for human flesh! Can The Ma’alem, an insane megalomaniac with a secret past, be stopped by his young apprentice, Ayman? What is the secret ingredient in the shawerma?

Script- someone arrives somewhere, they are new, they get in trouble, the person they are in trouble with turns out to be a zombie, several others become zombies, a group of kids with one HERO ‘get’ the zombies, everyone is alright in the end and the guy gets the girl………………………………oh, what? You mean its already been done? And done again? And again…and again….and….oh lots of blood and popping out eyes, flesh, torn clothes and a few semi naked scenes.
