I am currently doing BCA (Bachelors of Computer Application) “Software Engineering” and i wonder if i will get any job related to my major !

Lol burhan I agree – They say all nationalities but 2 years ago I applied they asked me any of your parents kuwaiti since this is required but they never say it upfront and then if not they will just bring up a great excuse for not having a chance for you.

Loyac is not a professional institution. It does not follow ethical practises. It is only for Kuwaities (Yes) unless you can make some phone calls to ‘Abu Abdullah’ and get hooked from the inside.

Otherwise, do not get hopes and do not waste your time. Good luck in another country.

The above are merely my own opinions about how the country and organisations run here. There is no need to take anything personal. Thank you 🙂

Hello everyone,

Burhan, the jobs that are offered are according to your major and where it may be relevant, so if you fit the criteria mentioned just apply and we’ll be sure to find something for your major.

Ithink, as mentioned on our site and blog, the program is open to ALL nationalities, so yes the program is open to expats as well

Ahmad, we have a variety of different sectors and companies we deal with. You can check on our website or come pay us a visit to find out more about where you may be employed according to your major.

HangMe… We say all nationalities and we mean all nationalities. Two years ago our programs were open to expats as they are today. We do not assign numbers of expats and Kuwaitis we accept, but the companies we deal with do. Most companies ask for a larger number of Kuwaitis as oppose to expats and this is something beyond our control. Last summer, 15% of our participants in the summer program were of nonKuwaiti nationalities.

On the contrary, LoYAC is a professional organization that has been around for 10 years now and has branches in Lebanon and Jordan. It isn’t only for Kuwaitis; most of the employees at the organization are of nonKuwaiti nationalities. If LoYAC did not follow ethical practices we would have not been able to establish all the local programs with some of the biggest companies, organizations and schools both locally and internationally. International programs with the British Parliament, Oxfam, ADC (American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee), and the International Fund for Agricultural Development as well as leadership programs such as WYSE and international volunteer programs in Kenya, Jordan, India and even Costa Rica.

Unfortunately we do not have an ‘Abu Abdullah’ to get hooked up from the inside, but you are more than welcome to visit our offices at Bayt Lothan and we’ll be more than happy to help in any way possible. For information you can visit loyac.org or visit our blog for any comments or questions. Thank you! 🙂

Thanks for the “useful” information. I am sure you all do what you “say” here. I’m glad you take criticism pretty well 🙂
