My package finally arrived to the US. They originally told me it would take a week to get there but it took nearly a month. Glad it got there though.

wow,i would say that the service is actually ok,not bad,as it finally GOT there.
At least it made it and it wasn’t donated to the landfill or thrown off somewhere around the 7th ring.

EMS is getting worst, I remember when they started back in 1998 my package to Japan took only 3 days to arrive there. I also shipped some tapes to a friend in Australia and it took 5 days.
I really believe the postage services are just bad so that people will go to the commercial alternatives so the big guys make profit.
Lucky You. I sent mine to the USA using EMS 6 years ago and never arrived.

It’s not just it being Snail Mail, it’s that he got lucky his package was even delivered.
The percentage of stuff (letters and stuff) that get lost with Kuwait Post is alarmingly leaning towards: there’s a bigger chance we’ll lose your things, than for them to arrive at all.
That’s sad. Not everyone can afford courier services. Besides, Kuwait is both tiny and organized. If you can have pizza delivered way up in the chales and farms without getting cold, then we damn sure can have quality post.
I’m waiting my package which is shipped by USPS Express International Mail, anyone had bad experience with USPS to Kuwait?
I did a couple times. UPS ground is better but sometimes a bit more expensive.
I was going to ship through Aramaex but since they were going to charge me same item price (Road Bike) I found out USPS Express Int. Mail much cheaper and there’s tracking system.
The best service I ever got was using UPS Express. It was expensive but damn it took 2 and half days to get to my home. That’s from the moment I clicked order and not when they actually shipped. I was impressed.
I never tried USPS Express but usually they are all somewhat similar in terms of service IMO.
In case anyone curious about USPS International Express Mail, I’ve received my shipment yesterday at my office after 13 days of order’s date.
I was impressed since it was pretty cheap compared to the other carriers. The tracker system is a joke, till now my shipment still “In-Transit” statues.
I used them a couple of times it took about two-three weeks to arrive.. but the most important part is to have your phone number in the Address line so that they call you to pick up your package, because they don’t deliver to your home.

I still remember, a few years back, a bid to privatize our post by using the extremely reliable Canadian Postal Service.
It was only going to cost us kd7 million a year, which I think Kuwait Post could’ve easily paid off by having us use them instead of Aramex and DHL.
Too bad that bid didn’t go through. It’s a real shame, our post is pathetic and embarrassing.
I dont know man, i think you just jinxed it in a way, i have been selling stuff on eBay and shipping with Kuwait EMS it used to take like 8 to 11 days depends on the day i ship it…
Guys you need to keep in mind EMS is not the Kuwait Postal system. It’s a different shipping company and their service is available at the Kuwait post office.
Either way, it seems that both suck..

well i can say EMS is good not bad to send items to all over the world , but the problem there is no tracking number , and you can’t make sure if the box is delivered or not , i use it all the time its very cheap and good it takes 8 days to USA.
but please never try to revieve anything cause you will be dead till to find your package ,
1st of all you must have tracking number with the date of shipping , other wise you will never find it .
you can’t find by name or address , the only way is tracking number ,
and you must go and ask , they will never call you ,
