My XRAY 808e is Race Ready

I finished building my 808e around 2 or 3 weeks back but was waiting for the motor and speed controller to arrive plus the batteries. Once they arrived I took the stuff to Pro Hobbies to have them professionally solder the wires together for me as well as setup the buggy for me. It’s now ready to take to the track which is what I am going to this next weekend. So far it kicks ass!

Here are the parts I installed if anyone’s interested:
– Tekin RX8 Competition Brushless System
– Tekin T8 1900kv Motor
– Savox 1258TG Servo
– Turnigy 4500mAh 4S 30C hard case battery

there’s an off-road race track at the Kuwait Science Club… ther’s a small one for beginner and the big one on the old drag race strip side near the Police coop.

The big track, is it outside the territory of the Scientific Club? I was there earlier today looking for a track but all I saw was the smaller one. There wasn’t a single soul there!

I was also reading the newspaper yesterday and they said that the track is temporarily closed because the scientific club doesn’t have the budget to maintain it. Is that true?

Additionally, the my toy track is for electric cars only. I’m assuming that the Scientific Indoor Track is probably electric as well. Is there a track for on-road nitro cars?

There are 3 tracks over there. Inside the scientific club u have the small offroad and also onroad (i think). Outside the club you have the super larger track.

From what i know the large track isn’t closed but yes it isn’t being maintained thats because the season is over. the maintainance is done during the race season, thats why i understood.

my toy track is electric only, the indoor track for science club opens up in the summer when the school closes. on-road nitro track i believe is at science club.

Thanks a lot. Do you happen to know who to ask for details in Scientific Club? And what time do you think is best to actually find people there?

The electric cars are better in this weather because they don’t heat up that much. I’m guessing that the season is over for the nitro cars. Do you run your cars in this weather? Is there like a cooling system for the engine?

I hope I’m not bothering you with my questions.

I wish I could answer your questions but I’m a newb myself when it comes to this. I’ll have someone who knows better than me come in and answer your questions

Hello Nawaf,
Just to clarify, through the Forum or “Contact R.C.C.C.K” link?

Thank you very much Mark
