New NBK App

The new NBK iPhone and iPad app is finally out. I’ve actually had the demo version of the app for a few months now but I couldn’t show anyone or say anything since I had signed a non-disclosure agreement. The new app is way better than their previous one as you can clearly see by the options and features available. If you want to download it just search for NBK in the app store or click [Here]

nice one aaa, but i really liked the app, one of the slickest and smartest app in its’ domain. liked the automatic logout feature when exiting, likde the “find near me” ATMs, like the details of transactions too. Just missing some indian cooking recipes!

When is the Arabic version coming out?!

Just tried it and I like it, but it’s missing a few things that do not require signing in, such as currency exchange

Also, it does not allow international transfers. Kinda spoils the idea of a ‘mobile’ app. If you are traveling, you will have to fibd a PC to transfer money internationally 🙁

@Andyq8 if you look at your beneficiaries list on the app it is one long list that includes all your beneficiaries from Watani Online. The ones with the globes next to them are your international beneficiaries.

You cant add beneficiaries through the app local or international, they have to be added from a PC.

@ali the app wasn’t developed by NBK IT and WOL DRP. What is WOL DRP Anyway?

@AndyQ8 you can do international transfers, check if the beneficiary logo has a globe next to it, in that case it is an international beneficiary

I liked this app, i hope that they do a way to get feedback from us.

btw AndyQ8 you can do international transfers, check if the beneficiary logo has a globe next to it, in that case it is an international beneficiary.

Maybe some problem just for my install/account? It still works fine on my PC with Watani Online, but on the iPad I just get a message saying “No transfers to beneficiaries” Can’t seem to get my list of beneficiaries to show. Or maybe I’m just missing something?

While I like the idea of the mobile app, i am concerned about the fact its an unsecured link so data is at risk. Also when you lose or get a new phone all of your personal data is stored on the smart phone (not so smart). I know in the UK a number of professional gangs use this data to obtain money from peoples accounts. BE SMART!
