I really am not anti RKFM its just that they really suck. Today I was listening to VOA when they went into a commercial break. So, I decided to switch channels and see what else is on, I get to RKFM and they had the new Jessica Simpson song on (i think its jessica simpson) and I like it (don’t ask why) so I kept the station and listened to it. I figured it was like some latest hits hour or something and I figured let me stay tuned in to see whats “cool” and “hip” with the youngies hehe. So anyway, the song ends and what song comes up next? ACE of FUCKING BASE! They have this one song like a decade old and its not the first time I heard it play on RKFM. I mean what the fuck, Ace of base?!? Just when for 1 second you think RKFM is getting decent they put Ace of Base or New Kids on the Block and ruin everything. I think Kuwait is the only country that still put Ace of Base on the radio, seriously.

just go to any place (cafe, restaurant …etc) where most of the staff are philippinos, and listen to their favourite tracks.
Any post-1999 track playing there is accidental, they’re in love with music from early & mid-nineties.

It is not that I am a fan of Ace Of Base. I don’t even know that band. But, don’t you think it’s cool to have a radio station where you can listen to different types of music? Whether it’s the latest hits or the oldies. That is what makes RKFM special. Most radio stations play only one type of music and they keep on playing the latest hits all over again. Now, THAT sucks!
Why is it so hard to please some poeple? Maybe THOSE people don’t KNOW what they really WANT!

yall need to listen to THE best station in kuwait 104.3 AFN. loads of Oldschool/new Funk, 80’s and gospel. It really feels like an awesome black american station and it puts me at ease remembering the good old days when i was out of this fucking cunt-ry.
the only annoying bits are the cheesy US army related ads and the abrupt news read in a really annoying voice.
also sara ^^^^^ the problem is not that RKFM (ha ha) plays ace of base, the problem is that they play the same shit over and over and over within a really short timespan. they have EXTREMELY short playlists. like i could easily hear the same song played twice within the same hour. that’s really unacceptable. also they have terrible DJ’s, fucking dr la bouche or whatever her fucking name is, has a fucking GODDAMN terrible voice. she sounds like a stripclub announcer. Vicky is about the only decent one but that’s still not saying much.
RKFM is a trainwreck, from the silly dedications of non-english speakers, and some DJ’s that can barely speak english, to the goddamn AKON-I’M SO LONELY fucking thugg chipmunks shit that kuwaitis eat up like jermaine duprius thugg tweety and other gay hip hop kfjfhdosuishyshH!@@J##H$Hfuckshit.

I’m partial to a bit of bacon with my breakfast at the weekends …but ‘one man’s meat is another man’s poison’ as they say…it’s the same with everything else in life…especially music….so you don’t like the music on RKFM? …neither mostly do I, as it happens … except for Maha’s show on Friday nights [9-11 Myrtle :-)] … Mark and Holla …Chill and turn the dial!!…’All that she wants is another baby…’..lol..
