A guy in the office got four iPod Nano’s, 3 black and 1 white. It has attracted a large crowd here in the office and everyone is ooohing and wowing. It looks extremely tiny in person, it’s very cool. Definetly going to reorder this now instead of the Sony Walkman Bean which I found out today you have to use a special Sony software to copy music onto the walkman and the software doesn’t work with Macs.
Update: Ok, I am just confusing myself to much. I just decided that I am going to hold out till the next generation iPod gets updated so then I can carry all my MP3s with me. I don’t need super tiny MP3 player. Will use the Shuffle till the new iPods come out.

I find that I need both a full sized iPod and a small one. I have a 3rd generation 40GB iPod which has been working perfectly for over two years now but it’s full and I need to change it. I refuse to buy a new iPod till the next generation comes out. I also have a 1GB Shuffle which I use at work and when I’m out and about. I think the Shuffle is excellent because it makes you choose your songs carefully because of the limited capacity unlike the big iPod which has almost all the music I own and then I find myself fidgeting too much between playlists.
I am currently using my wifes shuffle to listen to music but it feels weird without a screen. it feels like i am in a room with no lights on.. not a very comfortable feeling. my wife uses the mini at work and shuffle when she works out. i got my mini because of the last thing u said which is “choosing your songs”. With my regular iPod i used to dump everything on it, with the mini I used to “choose” what i wanted on it.
now though i am considering going back to dumping everything on the ipod again. I am also gonna wait till the next generation ipod comes out, hopefully it will look cooler then the current generation.
I have the same phone!
And, incidentally, I love my blue 2G 4GB mini for the same reasons mentioned above.
