The weather today is really gross. I rode in on my bike in the morning and later at lunch I had to ride back home and it was just awful. Its not only really dusty but at some points on the Gulf Road the air becomes really hot for some reason and it just makes things disgusting. It was terrible, I think riding season is nearly over.

Could have sworn you rode past me while I was walking in front of Muthanna yesterday afternoon!
that was probably me since my office is right behind muthana
Like everyone else in Kuwait the weather too is a little upset Virgin had to close.
The topic should be, “The heat has finally fried Mark’s mind, so he decided to ride today.”
didn’t want to go through the hassle of renting a car and i saved myself a few bucks π
hhahahaha! Just so you know! I ride all summer long!!! I just ride at night, even with the hot air! The Rider in me just won’t stop, can’t stop! hehehe
You have a bike? Sounds cool .. But yeah, as you said, riding season is probably over .. It became too hot and I don’t know how do riders insist on riding although it’s very hot..
p.s Marzouq, you have a very nice bike
Mark and Marzouq .. im just wondering .. if you ride in summer .. weither in day or night .. dont u get sweaty ?! and u cant go to starbucks after riding ..
Just thinking about the heat in Kuwait makes me want to think of the arrival of the first monsoon showers in Kerala, the Konkan coast and in Mumbai. Marzuq should try visiting Mumbai when it rains(July- Sept). Riding a bike on the Worli seaface, Mahalaxmi or the Queen’s necklace ( Marine Drive) when it’s drizzling can be Maha-fun. Of course, when the monsoon clouds are pouring their guts out, the roads can be very slippery which makes it dangerous but otherwise, light rains are fabulous. Also you might want to bike it up the 180 km long Mumbai-Poona national expressway at 560 metres above sea level for that extra shot of adrenaline, which is missing at sea level.
Seriously, today’s weather was a good starter for the summer season here in Kuwait :>
Financy I haven’t ridden in summer yet since i started riding i think in september or october.
summer riding,, hmm,, i haven’t experience winter riding
The weather here is amazingly awful and has gotten 100x worse in the past 5 years alone.
the unpredictable cocktail of extreme heat, humidity, dirty rain, pollution and heavy dust makes this prob the worst climate on the planet, next to crazy shit like extreme cold in the north pole or near an active volcano. no other place on earth does it go from extreme dry heat and dust to humid and freezing rain within a few hours.
i really can’t think of many more worst climates to live in, esp in heavily populated areas. it’s like punishment from god.
yuck i jus came home after hangin out wit my frnds.. i jus wanna puke… dirty weather.. my hair turned dark brown from black
Amjad thanks!
Financy yeah it gets pretty hot, but its nice to stop and get a drink! I usually ride a night in the summers!
NIGHT RIDER! hehehe
But you get used to it and its good exercise, it becomes so hot it doesn’t matter any more!
vampire … hummm do u have a bike π
I was on my bike today from 8 am to 1 pm with lots of meetings in town despite theweather . I feel chocked in a car in traffic Give me a bike summer or winter but NOT traffic !
Hello
I am considering riding a bicycle, not motorcycle, in south India this July from mumbai to goa.
I saw your name on the internet while surfing and am trying to gain information relating to travel at this period in this area
Am I crazy thinking of this during July. I have bicycled in cuba and thailand…but not in monsoons! Does it rain all the time. We would go slowly down the coast routes and not major highway.
What do you think?…your insight is greatly appreciated.
