$5 Billion sovereign wealth fund investments in Merrill Lynch and Citi Group, I really hope they sell those shares haha , besides the bad english and the vague responses I’d say it’s a pretty good interview ;p
Bad English? He is not young, and during the time he went to college (1950’s), Kuwait was still all desert, and no one had education, so his English is pretty good for his age (as a Kuwaiti). Besides, he speaks fluent french, and some Persian. How many languages do you speak? If someone were as rich and as elite, they would have people do the talking for them. Nonetheless, His Highness did a great job. 🙂
^^^^^
so true ,,, i was going to say something his English ,,, but i considered his age and his other languages ^__^
Thanks Dana . i love him as well . <3
What a diplomat! he gave her nothing 😀
A great man indeed!! This is the man who will pull kuwait out of crap that kuwait has been facing. I’ve heard that this man is very intelligent.. i guess you’ld have to be if you spoke four languages fluently.
i actually thought he was pretty good. he didn’t give her any insider information that could jeopardize anyone or the nation. i ‘applaud’ his responses to the lady.
He Did really well…Great job bo m7md
Dana , I agree .. thank you ; )
Hey I’m not saying he did a bad job and I’m certainly not hating, so please don’t start getting all defensive with ridiculous facts and assumptions.
I only speak three languages, Arabic, English and I dabbled in Bengali once , but that’s besides the point Dana 😀
Just because he went to school in the 1950’s doesn’t mean he has to be poorly educated (which I’m not saying that he is) my father is around the same age as he is and he speaks english fluently. huh..
anyway I am a sarcastic bastard if you didn’t catch on already , but all around I really think he did a great job and responded very well… for his age ;p
He speaks english pretty well. I don’t find any thing wrong. and excuse me, what the hell? is it a norm that all non-english speakers should speak and accentize like britz? Even an average English man don’t have sounds skills with their own language in terms of spelling or grammar. and now that you are whining about sheikh Nasser who speaks more languages other than his mother tongue.
no one has to artificially accentize english to make it “good”.
He’s right about the OPEC thing. Just watch the price of oil go even higher now that winter is around the corner. Like he said, its the global demand that dictates the price of oil.
He did very well… wait till you hear the others!
*clicks on link*
*prays he didn’t say something stupid*
his english is pretty good, he has a tiny “kuwaiti” accent but i like it :p
Greet Man indeed, I personally love sheikh Nasser 🙂
He did it very well guys!, His English is pretty good & accepted, dont forget his age (68)!
Viva Bo Sobah!
