The annual list of “100 most powerful Arab women” has been released and for 2012, NBK’s Sheikha Al Bahar came in at number 8 after coming in 15th place last year. She was the only Kuwaiti woman in the Top 10 which was mostly dominated by UAE and Saudi Arabia. You can check the full list of powerful women on the Arabian Business website [Here]

Haifa Wehbeh, position 69! priceless
What’s the first thing she does when she wakes up?
Goes back home
lol that’s deliberate for sure!
“Power Arab Woman”: ox·y·mor·on. Rhetoric .
a figure of speech by which a locution produces an incongruous, seemingly self-contradictory effect, as in “cruel kindness” or “deafening silence.”
She is one scary woman too
Mashallah, she deserves it.
I can still beat her in arm wrestling !
What’s with all the jealousy guys!
Powerful in the sense ?
She has majority of control of the world economy and market compared to other women ?
these lists are pointless and the definition of power has to be explained,
anyone with power has the ability to affect positively or negatively a large amount of peoples lives.
whether it be sheikha al bahar or anyone on that list, they have zero power to affect anyones lives outside their workplace.
they should rename the list to arab women with best corporate jobs or managment positions. but non of the 100 ladies on that list can do anything to effect my life, and they have absolutley no say in any world politics let alone within the arab world, and on a personal level a real womens power is her ability to raise her kids and add value to the society they live in.
“they have zero power to affect anyones lives outside their workplace.”
Yeah, jobs are so minor. It’s not like people rely on them as a source of income to support themselves and their families with or anything.
“and on a personal level a real womens power is her ability to raise her kids and add value to the society they live in.”
You seem to have gotten stuck in the Dark Ages. You see, these days some of us tend to recognize that women are valuable all on their own, and not just to be valued for their childrearing. Oh, and men can raise children too! It’s great over here, why not step up and join us?
She deserve of why’s she had also beauty brain @ she good person really she my employer was…
as much as she’s “most powerful Arab women”
Her manners are great
