50 fils on international smses
i think they were 20 fils before… local and international… sucks
WTF :/
Dont they suck enough money from people!
in saudi u pay double for international sms,
in the states a sms costs 10 cents, that for reciving and sending a sms! if u send me a message, i pay for it too, now that sucks
well in jordan local sms is 1 piaster, and int is 3 piasters. 1 KD = 2.4 JD, so a piaster (dime = 10 fils) is actually 0.00417 KD and the 3 piasters = 30 fils is 0.01 fils. expensive kuwait heh?
yeah @#%$^ them .. it used to be 30-40 fils
wataniya still have that deal like 50 or 60 sms per month for only 1KD.
oh ok so it only effects the international sms, dont know why i didnt read that in the sms they sent me. well this wont be effecting me much since i barely sms internationally anyways
60 sms for 1 KD? savings of just 200 fils?
If nothing’s changed since I was last in Abu Dhabi, Etisalat charges you 18 fils (5cents, 0.014KD) for sending a domestic SMS, and 60 fils (16cents, 0.047KD) for an int’l one, which I think is pretty reasonable…Here in America, T-Mobile (my carrier) charges 10c for sending AND receiving domestic txts, and 15c for sending and 10c for receiving and int’l txt, which sucks for me. I’ve got a messaging bundle though: $2.99 for 300 msgs of any kind (txt, picture, video), which is a brilliant deal (but I still get charged 15c for every msg I send to the UAE).
Speaking of Etisalat..I just visited their website for the first time in aaages and I noticed they’ve got a new look..I love it! The old one was ridiculously childish and blah…What do you think of it, Mark?
Wataniya is 20 fils for both local and international call..
3G service in wataniya is the same price as making a normal call, i also heard that it wont be changing anytime soon either..
I think it is because of the summer holidays. Sucking kuwaiti money while abraod. The same $hiyte here in dublin €.25 for international sms
When I was in the states, TMobile had a unlimited SMS package for around 10$ .. and they wouldn’t differentiate between local and international sms. Took them a couple months to realize how many messages Kuwaiti students could send for free; I was averaging 300+ a day.
I had the $10 from Tmobile! I was racking the sms up!! But yeah 50 fils is a decent amount! And I do send a lot of international smss. Going to see how it affects the price!
Marzouq: I averaged it out after they started charging per sms, My phone bill would have been ~1500$! I must have saved over 5000$ over the 5 months that they had the 10$ sms plan. 🙂
hey i called 107 this morning n they told me that the new tariff will tack effect in the 7th of june it used to be 20 fils for both local n international but the but the M.O.Mowasalat have forced this new tariff for international sms if we didnt impliment it they will cut of the iner. gatway for sms so what should we do
