The double decker bus graveyard

My previous post on the KPTC double decker buses reminded of some pictures I had taken awhile back. I was at junkyards when I spotted a bunch of old KPTC double decker buses parked together in miserable condition. It looked very sad just surrounded by junk and filled with junk. Below are some pictures I had taken on that trip.

I didn’t know Kuwait had double deckers. Must’ve been very few buses. That graveyard reminds me of the highway of death up north.

Not only does Kuwait need double decker buses, but with this heat all bus stations should be air conditioned like the ones in Dubai. oh that would mean the government has to spend money on the country#$%$

Double decker buses in Kuwait is a great idea especially since we see a lot of buses going in the same direction causing congestion on the road. With Double deckers they can reduce the nuicanse of buses (Well at least reduce it)

I rode them as a kid in 86 for sure. i left in 88. but because of the pervs on buses in those days i would never ride on the top. ๐Ÿ™

yeah back in the days there were these buses,
I remember one on the gulf street,
which was a double decker but the top roof used to be open!

Absolutely brilliant to see! Shame non have been maintained just for “show n tell” type purposes

There are also one or two old double decker buses parked on the land next to the vintage car museum, opposite City Centre in Shuwaikh. You can see the top deck over the fence as you drive by.
