Al Jazeera English have uploaded the documentary “Kuwait: The class of 1990” on to YouTube. It’s 47 minutes long so I haven’t watched it yet but should do so tonight. [YouTube]
Thanks Moey

Thanks for that … I set a reminder to watch it but I missed my reminder 🙁
Nice video…
I’m surprised it came on/from Al Jazeera!
I didn’t even know there was an english jazeera lol
They hired all the ex BBC and Sky presenters… It’s funny seeing old faces there.
i know Fahad
he loves Barcelona 🙂
nice video
Amazing! Having been a teacher at another school at that time, and who escaped the whole incident through being on vacation, the documentary rings so very true. We lost everything as we had adopted Kuwait to be our new home. WE have many stories from those like us and those who stayed and those who escaped – just! Even now I keep in touch with some of my ex-students who like those you saw, have lives and families elsewhere. I returned and have remained in Kuwait with my own family in 2002, despite my better judgment, and saw many changes plus also many aspects which haven’t despite all that happened.
Without your blog I would have missed this, so thank you again Mark. I have passed the link to others involved at that time who are now all over the world.
thanks for posting this vid…brought back so many memories. Sometimes I wonder how my life would have turned out if the invasion never took place
AWESOME video — I absolutely loved the sincerety and the spontaneouty in the video —
Way better than what they are showing on Alwatan TV
wow . bravo!
Great doc. I am a few years younger than those folks but I know (as many of you probably do) EXACTLY what they meant and went through.
Our lives, and Kuwait, was changed forever.
A fantastic documentary.
wow.. that was so amazing.. thanks alot mark.. i shared it on my facebook page.. this is actually the best documentary i’ve ever seen.. specially about kuwait.. and to be honest.. this is the first thing i’ve ever love that was related to kuwait.. no offence to anyone.. but being a 23 years old man.. i’ve had alot of things going on in my life with kuwait that would make me hate it :S.. i would love you Mark to cover the latest situation that happened with me that made me actually cry when i reached home.. and wishing i could leave kuwait immediately.. if here is a possiblity for that.. please contact me.. thanks again about this awesome post
I graduated from that school 🙂
