Yippee!

iPod Dent Xpress

I went to pick up my cheque from Dent Xpress for the monthly banner and on my way out the owner gave me a black 80GB iPod video as a gift! It was a thank you gift because he got a lot of referrals from my site.

I am so giddy, although I have a black 60GB iPod video (which will now go to my younger brother) the new one is scratch free, has a larger hard-disk and a much better battery life. I think the battery life is the most important thing because watching videos drains a lot of battery.

One thing I found interesting was the back of the iPod was engraved with the Dent Xpress logo and phone numbers. I don’t think he did this on Apple.com because they can’t engrave logos. I need to find out where he got the iPod engraved because I could imagine a lot of people would be interested in customizing their ipods like this.

Anyway thank you Dent Xpress!

in lebanon i knew of a place that engraved on wood. it was done like using lasers i guess this would work the same except wouldnt it reflect the laser away since its mirror like? mabe they dont use laser?

Mark talk to them and tell them to increase their product line and include touch-up paint! hehehe! They do a good job, but I know people who contacted them because of the number on your blog!

Congrats man, I was wondering about the scratch free bit…..do you it’s currently scratch free and won’t be easily scratched like before or is it still prone to scratches???

Oooohh nice.. i want my ipod ingraved but when i took it to the store they said the only way to get in engraved was to order it online..
let us know when you find the place..

0o mabroooook mark, you truly deserve it.

Actually, Apple.com does offer engraving (free of charge) when you purchse your IPod directly from them. Visit the Web Site and go throught the purchsing process and right before you finalize your purchase it will ask you if you like to add accessories or engraving – Try it – its fun, you could add 2 lines behind your IPod …. P.S. In January, Apple is introducing a Touch Screen, Camera equiped, and Bluetooth enabled Ipod and totally redisigned … so enjoy your 80GB before it gets out of style .. bummer lol
