Q8books found a bunch of vintage Arabic comic books in a pile of donated books and are trying to figure out their value. The conditions of the books range from around a 5/10 to maybe an 8 or 9/10. Does anyone know how to go about finding how much they’re worth? The books are:
Superman 6 (1984 reprint)
Superman 58 (1981)
Superman 63 (1982)
Superman 64 (1983)
Batman 13 (1977)
Batman 15 (1979)
Flash 4 (1973)
Lulu 16 (1980)

I’m not sure that comics from the 70s can be considered vintage. A lot of us have comics from then and before!

Even if they are in mint condition they are unlikely to be far off from the cost price. 70s comics are not rare or anything even in English. They might be worth even less in Arabic since demand is not particularly high here. Are sitting on any first editions?
Well someone offered her $1200 yesterday and today has gone up to $1800 so I’m trying to help her figure out if it’s a fair price or not.

$1200 is way too much, the one who is offering that much money is crazy, you can get the 8 comic books from Egypt for less than 30 KD.
Well depends on the issues I guess. The Flash one turned out is worth around KD150 since there were only 6 issues ever. The Lulu one around KD60-KD70 with the rest coming it at around KD40-50 each. So if you guys have old Arabic comics now would be a good time to sell them.

one of my arabic comics is selling on ebay for $200… but people can list whatever price they want, what matters is the sold price.

Hi definitely the price is too much plus two of those including batman 15are not original ones they have been reprinted in egypt and sold and not an original copy regards
The sell on ebay from $24 – $90 each depending on country of origin. can be Lebanon, Egypt or Saudi Arabia, I’ll be interested in buying them if you intend to sell but $1800 is a lot of money and if you were offered this than you should sell quickly but you also have to advice the buyer about the regular pricing and not to take advantage.
