According to @watannews the power went out at the Kuwait Airport earlier today. According to rumors I’ve heard the backup generators also ended up failing. Doesn’t look like any flights were affected though.

Ok ok, you guys listen to my theory on this.
What if it was Jinn in the backup generators that caused them to fail. I think they were planted there by someone who hates Kuwait, so he did some sort of black magic and made them fail.
If you guys agree, you should send me 500 kd so I can use more black magic to find the location of the dead sheep with the curse in it.

Was not more than a 10 mins outage, lasted from 10.55am to 11.05am. I was personally there, people dont leave any chance of defaming the airport and the national airline, grow up people!

I was there today it only lasted for 10 minutes tops and yeah my flight got delayed for around 5-10 minutes that’s it

Everyone shut up. Kuwait makes the best electricity in the world – and we are very fair and humble with our electricity. Many people come here for better electricity because they have really bad electricity where they come from. If they don’t like our electricity, then nobody forces them to stay here. they can GTFO and should do.

It was a scheduled power failure as it was also informed at our departments. Just to check how functioning are the power on backups. But I guess they possibly didn’t respond well to that.
Expats are to blame…. they are taking too many flights….and using the airport frequently !!!
