The Influencer who Stuffed his Dog in the Trunk of his Car was Arrested

Kuwait’s Public Prosecution have arrested popular social media influencer 3bodka for misusing the platforms and abusing the Kuwaiti people.

3bodka, whose real name is Abdulla Al-Jassir, is being investigated for a video he posted on his social media page using an insulting word to describe the Kuwait people, after receiving criticism previously for posting a video of his dog that drowned in a swimming pool. The authorities received complaints from 20 different individuals about the video. The crimes that are being investigated carry a prison sentence of five years and KD100,000 fine.

He has been detained for three days as investigations continue, however, his detention is expected to end today. [Source]

I have to say, I am pretty surprised they actually arrested him. I thought for sure nothing was going to be done about it. If you’re out of the loop on what this is all about, check out my previous post [Here]

he’ll probably have to pay a fine and get away with it. I find it sad that hes unapologetic about how he treated the animal, but instead sought refuge in exposing how bad some people are treating expats. Two wrongs don’t make a right.

Too much pride. Over-inflated egos. Delusions of grandeur. Just because others get away with something, means I can do it too. Thats the arab mentality.

You left out also

Complexity issue

Arabs have a complexity issue towards the white man.

When Americans or westerners come to the Middle East they wouldn’t even
Speak Arabic or even try, yet the Pakistani, Indian, Siri lanken, Bangladesh,
Indonesian, and Philipino, speak Arabic, they give them no respect.

He’s not in jail because of the dog incident, it’s for insulting the Kuwaiti public. The source you cited is wrong.

He got arrested for the wrong reason though. The judicial system in this country is a joke. Two dozen pigeons from Egypt and a 5,000 dinar bundle will see him acquitted in no time.

I sincerly hope by pigeon you mean 7amama, and by 7amama you mean “‘Hey Salloom what are you doing? ‘, ‘Playing with my 7amama!'”

He must’ve said that while he was slipping into bed naked with underaged girls orr… ORR when was cheating on his with a German bodybuilder/architect named Kellenbach.

It gets me really worked up when people quote that rancid old man.

Apparently a lot of those who “fight ignorance” need some type of education themselves as well.

Can’t believe everyone thinks this is justice when they made things worse by bullying and harassing the guy until they got to him. What he did can be described as mishandling since he obviously never intended to harm the dog, but lacks the mentality on how to humanely take care of it.

What others did to him, on the hand, is definitely an issue that needs to be taken care of. Insulting him and his family with all the profanity in the world should NOT be tolerated. What’s more disgusting though is the fact that many social figures are absurdly taking advantage of the situation to get more attention. I’m not sure about the details, but I think there’s even a lawyer who tried to convince him to take his case but when he refused, the lawyer took it to the social media attacking him or something.

This is just disgusting.

If he is that ignorant , I suggest they withdraw his degree, that I am sure he got abroad somewhere.

Yes there is a problem where a country allow you to stuff a sheep in the your truck to take it to slaughter, That’s where it is the country responsibility to educate its people.
We all know abuse starts with the animals, soon its the maid, then maybe the spouse…the children.. I am sure if you are a inch smart you get the picture.

What ever comes out of this, I do hope the animals gets heard… Hmm

And I hope he gets also stripped of his account and prohibited from having one in the future. Someone so clearly ignorant should not have a public platform.

My two cents.

“Mishandling since he obviously never intended to harm the dog”

How dumb do you have to be to stuff a dog in a trunk of a car in Kuwait and think that’s not harmful?

Shitty people should be treated as such.

If it was just the one dog Salah, I would agree with you 100%. The problem is that its not just the dog. Its this dog and a number of dogs before him, along with monkeys, kangaroos, sheep, among others. These repeated abuses are what caused a lot of uproar especially after the first day. The latest dog scandal is just the cherry on top.

This person is no normal person. He is a social influencer with followers from all age groups, and many nations. What kind of picture is it sending the world if we’re all okay with what he is doing? Besides it being illegal, its immoral and inhumane (again, talking about REPEATED abuse).

I believe most people continued harassing him because his refusal to apologize and take responsibility for what he did.

His justifications were (translating) “Dont blame me, I dont know how to take care of the dog”, “Its not my fault, I blame the friend that told me I could keep him outdoors no problem”, and “I’m sorry for taking the picture, it was wrong” … Nowhere is he taking responsibility for what he did. So I think people’s reactions were indeed justified (to a certain extent). Because of his social influence, we need to make sure he is especially liable for his actions. With being an influencer come added responsibilities.

Having said that, I do not think people should go as far as cursing at his family or threatening him or whatever. I think we need to ensure the laws are implemented in full. If we want to go one step further, people can campaign a boycott, which is a fair action that doesn’t fall under physical harm or verbal harassment.

Now that’s a response I can reason with. Thank you for clarifying the missing parts (he owned a kangaroo!). Even though he appears like a bad person (which he might be or not), we still have to acknowledge our own actions and reactions. Do people to make the world better or do they want to enjoy paybacks and revenge?

Once again, thank you for such a civilized respond.

Thank you for having an open mind for discussion, don’t normally find this over here. And just for the sake of being accurate, he still owns the Kangaroos. Two of them. I’m not entirely sure about the rest of the animals he has now. (I don’t follow him I just receive any animal abuse-related posts he.. umm.. posts)

Ignorance is not an excuse and cursing/shaming people is not a crime.

Putting yourself out there online and expecting no type of backlash when you behave like a scumbag is laughable.

There are consequences for actions, he is facing them.

Oh and in case everyone got caught up with his negative story, the dude has an outstanding track of charity events that he organized and donated to. He IS a decent person who at least knows how to treat other humans, charity or not. No one talked about that before.

Nothing good he did counts now. Like how the famous saying goes “It takes years to build a good reputation, and only seconds to destroy it”. Too bad, he dug his own grave.

I’ll go one step further than Pat. Hitler campaigned against smoking, with creating a cheap reliable car that can be purchased by all levels of society, fought for animal protection, and most likely a few “good” things. You think anybody would ever care about that?

Obviously, I’m not comparing the two. All I’m saying is that even he did some good, it doesn’t make him a good person.

Word of the day thank you for that haha. Definitely true, and obviously I’m being extreme here. But you know what I was getting at.

I mean just look at the picture in the post. If you see nothing wrong with that then there’s no point even discussing this with you honestly.

I’m pretty sure he got arrested for his words when he called the “Kuwaiti people” a shit people and they can take their signatures and “zerighom” aka put them up their ass. I think it had to do with the signatures against him for the animal abuse. So he did get arrested, not for animal abuse but for his words against “The people”. Correct me if I am wrong I could be wrong :>

God you people are butt-hurt. It’s like I’m around Nostradamus “he’s gonna get out on 350 files bail” (I’m exaggerating), you ain’t the bloody judiciary system, you people said the exact same crap about all the projects that the government never happening before they even started it even started. I am sad that that dog didn’t get justice but atleast he got ia prison sentence. Just swallow your pride till we see if he’s in jail then Everyone gets free cognac.

You and your Cognac. How about switching it up with something more universal, like Vodka, or something more more exciting like Tequila for change?

As for the dude in question. He’s a douche. Maybe someone educates him (as in actually sits him down and calmly explains to him how and why his actions were so very very wrong, like actually drill it into him until the lightbulb goes off in his head and he gets it) and THEN go on to punish him or whatever else. Punishing people who can’t even acknowledge what they did was was wrong seems pointless. They’ll just end up repeating whatever it is they did in the first place. There’s my 2 fils.

I like cognac, it’s the piss of the gods. That’s very true, in Europe they educate people instead of simply throwing them into prison and bam. I believe that jail should be cancelled and replace with re-education and therapy within a enclosed community where prisoners become friends and do charity work instead of just sitting there not doing nothing.

Tequila = Unicorn Piss

Whoah, whoah. Let’s not get hasty. Getting rid of jail all-together doesn’t sound that great. Ya’ know, some people are born lacking empathy. Sociopaths who go on to kill people… for fun! Dexter (no spoilers, I stopped at season 4) is cool and all but it’s just a tv show. In the real world, there’s no hope for people like that.

Let’s just dot the I. Jail should be there but the way you treat people within that building, you have community buildings exercises within that building. It been proven to work in places like Sweden but one must take into account swedens are completely different people compared to the savages we live with here.

Ideally, sure.

However, when you’ve got cancer, you don’t just ignore it and hope everything magically gets fixed on its own, right? Also, running away isn’t very “honorable”.

“A good deed done to an animal is like a good deed done to a human being, while an act of cruelty to an animal is as bad as cruelty to a human being.”
“Fear Allah in these beasts who cannot speak.” (Abu Dawud)
… no further comment, so much ignorance around us… I just pity that shallow being and who are defending him…

He pissed off the wrong VIP people. The lawyers who filed knew he probably wouldn’t be convicted for an animal abuse/torture violation, so they found something else. I’m glad that people are finding creative loopholes to get these monsters out of the population. Maybe they can find some kind of land use violation at the Friday Market now.

What Aboodka did was absolutely wrong, no one denies it. The videos and pics went viral on the internet even other people from other countries talked about it being an animal right violation. SURPRISINGLY, ANOTHER FAMOUS GUY POSTED A VIDEO (find the link below) ON HIS ACCOUNT THAT VIOLATED ANIMAL RIGHTS TOO AND NO ONE, TO MY KNOWLEDGE, TALKED ABOUT IT OR BROUGHT IT UP!!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ep3zA-zQETM

he was arrested for calling people (Sh*t) & (wh*res) not because his animal abuse .. anyways he is out till the court day

I feel almost borderline sorry for this dude: sorry for the books and journals he didn’t get a chance to read, sorry for the film, theatre and music his life’s been bereft of (thanks to clandestine censorship), sorry about the places he chose not to visit and gain an education for life – sorry for the kind of people he let into his corner and most of all, sorry for his wives, gfs and the many kids he may have fathered or almost fathered for whom life can be just like a dog’s life, I imagine.

Most husbands and wives here fail to realize that as parents their roles do not end with copulation and that parenting calls for investing in time, energy and effort. What can you expect of entire generations reared and raised by some underprivileged illiterate to semi-literate house maid?

While it made for some toxic reading in the broadsheets in the early 80s that Kuwaiti dailies allowed maid exchange/swapping adverts, I wouldn’t at all be surprised if this practice still continues in Kwt albeit, more discreetly now. Equally, I suspect there is an active demand for wet nurses in Kuwait: such is the apathy toward children after you bring them into the world! All of this can have bearing on the kind of person you grow up to be- kind, generous, compassionate, humourous, tolerant, patient, animal loving OR not….

Oh this made my night. I always wait about a week or so to run through your post Mark. I know I may miss something and I wish I had the time to check your blog everyday. But these surprises sure make the waiting worth it. Thanks for keeping us updated.
