This can’t be good

The Repercussions of an Attack
Destroying Iranโ€™s many reactors and processing facilities could release large amounts of radiation and create radioactive dust storms. Winds would carry this toxic miasma over Afghanistan and its large U.S. military garrison. Dangerous radiation would also extend to Pakistan, western India, Iraq, Kuwait and to the Gulf, where large numbers of U.S. military personnel are based. Equally ominous, radioactive dust could blanket oil fields in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. High-altitude winds would spread radioactivity around the globe, as occurred at Chernobyl in the Ukraine, but at a factor of twenty times or more. [Source]

why is there war this world ! ๐Ÿ™ why don’t the rulers or Presidents of that country’s fight with a chess match ? instead of blood bath and destroying peoples life’s… isn’t Chess a Royal game ?

If it was up to me, I’d put all the big decision makers, warmongers and arms dealers in a large Colosseum-like structure (preferably in Dubai since they like things big), where they can all fight each other rather than use people of their nation to do the dirty work. Anyone else who wants to join is free to engage in the fight. I’ll also throw in a few hungry tigers, bears and alligators. Purely for entertainment purposes of course.

As long Americans are here… nothing bad is going to happen. Not for our sake, but for the sake of their children. Don’t worry. The whole article is contradicting itself. No one is going to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities with so many Americans all over.

So you really think Americans are here to protect us?
They are here for Oil. it’s pure business for them. they don’t care about world peace.
haven’t you learnt anything from War on Iraq? or you think that it was justified? US attacking Iraq even when the United Nations had asked them not to.

The only threat for Iran as of now is Israel.
who is funding Israel? America…
Israel is know to be the Sister country of U.S.

taking the above in to consideration… who now is the real threat to Iran?

you answer is U.S… the united stated of AMERICA.

Nope, something even more important. Poppy. The number one source of the drug trade. NATO isn’t fighting the drug trade. They’re protecting it. From there the drugs make their way upto Russia and to the eastern sea ports where the lax security means it can easily enter America from the west coast. The russian mafia then distributes it all over.

after japan the whole world is having a rethink about nuclear energy. many leading countries including germany are now in the process of scaling back their nuclear plans and setting a time frame for closing all their sites.

makes you think; then why would iran (that has plenty of gas and oil) be steaming ahead and accelerating their work??

sometimes I wonder….when will an advanced race visit our planet to show us the way? Anyone else share the notion? “sigh”

There is so much bs in the news these days around this its sickening. As much as the West would like to strike Iran and eliminate their chances of achieving a nuclear weapon, the risks of such an attack would send the world into WW 3 . Even if the Americans were to bomb the iranians back to the stone age, it wouldn’t happen before they light up the oil infrastructure on this side of the gulf and insure that no one gets a drop of oil from this region for years to come. This would naturally upset the energy balance of the world and many countries would go to war over access to the severely limited oil resources.

But the big picture is this, the Iranians have never ever even fired a single bullet against isreal, so I don’t necessary believe the “down with israel” rhetoric that comes before the friday prayers from Tehran. I believe that is mainly for their ‘local’ consumption. In the end, they will most likely develop their nuclear ambitions, and afterwards will sit down with the Americans on one table and come to a power sharing agreement.

That’s because they don’t have to fire a single bullet, they do it through Palestine, Syria etc. why attach your name to something when you know it won’t be the end of Israel? That would just get them in deeper shit. No, no. They’d rather fund other nations and terrorists into doing their dirty work for them.

I would be very interested in your sources if they offer any actual PROOF to back up what you claim of Iran funding groups in Palestine and Syria? Any actual proof at all? It might look something like these links:

https://abcnews.go.com/WN/Afghanistan/united-states-military-funding-taliban-afghanistan/story?id=10980527#.T1ZN_WD-leU

https://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/cifamerica/2010/may/25/afghans-believe-us-funding-taliban

https://thenewamerican.com/usnews/foreign-policy/8634-military-report-360-million-funded-us-enemies-including-taliban-

Although you might not like what the links say, because ALL of them claim that the US is actually funding the Taliban in Afghanistan. And by the way, 2 of these sources are American media companies and the other is a respected UK media corporation; and all of these articles are basing what they claim on a US military report.

This is just one example of claims that the USA is funding “terrorist” organizations; if you need more examples, all you have to do is ask. Your turn. ๐Ÿ™‚

If it were up to me, I would take all the leaders who have problems with each other and put them in a room and lock the doors.
The problems are between them only. Not countries.

Mark, I’m wondering, how you haven’t posted the Zain flashmob at the Avenues yet? Just watched it, was pretty awesome.

No one remembers “unlimited wants, limited resources” from Economics class?

When resources start to get limited, u got to fight for it.

WAR… What is it good for?
Absolutely….

NOTHING!

I dream of a day where Iran, Iraq and Syria become civilized and progressive countries. I dream of a time where we invest in these countries and co-exist in peace. Iran in particular has a rich culture and decent people. It’s a shame that the Iranians are ruled by extremist religious figures who believe in a myth (this accusation was made by Rafsanjani not me!!).

I think Iranians deserve a better life. A life where we and them can co-exist in peace. Establishing corporations making our region a peaceful region and a big tourist attraction. Imagine that? instead of going to Europe we go to the mountains of Iran and they can do the same. The Economy would boost the average Iranian will be richer it’s a win-win situation.

Why are we stuck with such messed up people ruling the countries in our region? Why are we always surrounded by hostile governments?

My dear friend, Ahmed. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Now that I’m sure you’ve missed the point that Iran is an expansionist entity with a hobby of interfering with other’s businesses in a bad way (that’s a fact). How is this comparable with Kuwait?

Instead of inciting (exporting) revolutions (ุชุตุฏูŠุฑ ุงู„ุซูˆุฑุฉ) to its neighbor countries… How about they export Aab Gulab, Alucha and Carpets to us instead????

Mutual economical and cultural exchange instead of golololololo-ideology and all of this crap.

Oh and Gugush should go back to Iran.

George.. so what do you call U.S whose made it their right to poke their nose in other countries matters?? so do you think Americans are fighting for world peace?? Why did they really attack Iraq?? did they finally find any bio chemical weapons after the war that they didnt find during the investigations that they were doing for God knows how many years..

Do you what they found?? Loads n loads of oil.. its all about oil.

by the way.. who gives the right to U.S to attack any country at their will.. why did they attack Iraq when UN opposed war??

US attacked Iraq for Oil and for Kuwait. We should not forget that Iraq attacked and invaded to Kuwait

U.S faught for Kuwait & Kuwait paid them… why are they still sticking in Kuwait? I dont think Kuwait had any threat from Iraq in 2003. The only reason Iraq was sendgin bombs to Kuwait was coz U.s has a base here..

Really? You must have a very short memory or be very young.

Iraq consistently referred to Kuwait as a province of Iraq between 1992 and 2003. Iraq was seen as a threat here in Kuwait and to deny this is to rewrite your own history.

Remember, Iraq invaded Kuwait and USA was invited to have a base in Kuwait in order to stop it happening again. It is rather less conspiratorial than you think.

I dream of a day when the United States of America becomes a civilized and progressive country. I dream of a day when the rulers over there decide to co-exist in peace instead of attacking every country that they don’t like and bombing people they don’t agree with.

Most americans are decent people (I’m just being nice, I haven’t met most of them), it’s a shame that they are ruled by extremists that think that the world revolves around them and how they envision it should work.

I think americans deserve a better life. A life where their kids aren’t sent to invade other countries where they burn Qurans and they can co-exist with other societies without their embassies around the world having to issue warnings to its citizens to watch out for attacks.

Why are we stuck with such messed up people ruling their countries? Why are we always surrounded by hostile governments? (even when this hostile government is on the other side of the planet) ๐Ÿ™‚

Don’t be defensive. I do smash USA a lot but we’re not talking about USA. You have an itch, scratch it but don’t share your itch with us.

Focus on the subject. Our region is a mess. Imagine Kuwait is a state surrounded by Finland, Sweden and Norway. I bet you we wouldn’t be invaded or threatened all the time. Kuwait’s history since 1900 been a continuous events of threats. From Ottomans, to Ikhwan, to Abdulkareem Qasim, to Saddam Hussein and now Karim Fairuz Abadi (a military spokesperson) claiming that Iran owns all the countries in the Gulf Region. (actually this particular speech made Jafar Muhammad retire from Al Adalah channel).

When the subject is about USA, I will smash it way better than you do. You know why? Because I know a lot about them. When this subject happens, wait for me and you will be satisfied.

LOL, who’s being defensive now?
“don’t share your itch with us” – typically closed-minded reply, so I’m only allowed to share my thoughts if they agree with yours, right? ๐Ÿ™‚

I find it hilarious that you’re telling me to focus on the subject, and then go rambling on about Ottomans and Saddam Hussein.

Let me spell it out for you, to make it easier for you to understand. The post was about an “ATTACK” on Iranian nuclear facilities; which would be from either USA or israel, or both. Therefore, since the instigator of all the damage that would ensue would probably be the United States; I just thought that the world would be a better place without a trigger-happy president in the white house.

I merely framed my reply on your words to show you how silly your post was. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh I just noticed your name…. HAH!!!
The problem I know Ron Paul is not going to win so we’re stuck with Newt, Mitt or Santorum. I’m not sure why you’re using this name, but I’m hoping it’s for satirical purposes!

I dream of a world where America* becomes a country that care about other people..a country that is not run by oil hungry politicians…

When that day comes, The world will live in peace and harmony.

Your America is the source of all wars and troubles in the word not to mention that the US is the only country which used a nuclear bomb! so tell me now… Isn’t America more dangerous to the world than Iran?

and please, dont start with the “Keeping world peace and exporting democracy” shit because we all know that it’s a BIG lie.

The only reason why our region is not peaceful is because of America.. a 10 years old kid can tell you that ๐Ÿ™‚

and for Kuwaitis who think that America saved you from Iraq, I petty your shallow mind. America saved your *their* oil and they don’t give a dam about you as human beings or your country.

I won’t say sorry for my bad English because it’s not my first language

* I refer to America the country not the beautiful continent.

They may not care about us as human beings (your opinion not mine) but had they not intervened, Kuwait would not be around today. Where was precious Iran during this period? Bet they were waiting for us to be gone so they could just fight with Iraq later for our land.
For all the US bashing going around the difference between them and Iran is that I’m not afraid about a midnight attack from their nation for no reason. On the other hand, can’t say the same about Iran. They have no respect or ties to international policy so if they went ahead with a war in the future i believe they’d feel no responsibility to adress any other nations or step down. And while the US ignored the UNs advice on the “weapons of mass distruction” they weren’t the only ones who fought that war. Let’s not forget there were over 30 nations involved, including the UK and Australia.

And the US has respected the international ties???? they’ve manipulated the media and manipulated the minds of many in order to look like the International Democracy Police hiding beneath this an evil empire run by oil thirsty businessmen. Iran is nothing but a joke that was created by the US like Al Qaeda and many others because in order to convince the world that they are the democracy police, they must create threats to the world and in this case it’s Iran and who is the superman who is going to save mankind from the evil threats of Iran Nuclear Program??? you guessed it right, it’s The United States of America

This author is greatly mistaken in his assumptions. While the fallout could be significant, it in no way would be worse than Chyrnobel. Nor would the fallout be as great. Chyrnobel was doomed from the start and anyone who was ever in the nuclear power business(I was) knew it at the time. The threat of massive fallout always makes really good news and gets people’s panties in a wad but reality and physics does not support the author’s predictions.

Most likely, the fallout would be quite severe in an area about 50km around the site but another 50km you would have radioactive contamination just slightly above naturally occuring sources. Might make a very sensitive and highly accurate detector alarm, but not much else.

I agree with this assessment. Panic mongering does not achieve anything and is the source of much stress in Kuwait.

As a physicist, I can definitely say there is no support for this analysis. Chernobyl, although the worst accident in the nuclear industry, has not produced elevated cancer levels in the general population apart from an increase of thyroid cancer amongst those directly exposed at the time (roughly 6000 people). Thyroid cancer has a 92% survivability rate over 30 years.

Iran is ringed by a large mountain range effectively stopping military action either out of Iran or into Iran except on the border due to the incredible logistic problems required for supply through the mountains (which is why the Iran-Iraq war stayed broadly on the border). This effectively stops drifting clouds (not completely …but it is certainly a weakened effect compared with Chernobyl) of dust as well.

The more serious danger is in encouraging unsubstantiated effects aka this article.

2002 or 2003 i dont exactly remember but i got a chance to ask a question in the voa , chat show. the topic was iran and its nuclear ambitions. I asked if USA has so many warheads how can it deny other country from doing so,, my call was dropped from the conversation.
USA and its puppet countries are trying to boss over the world. why cant they see their own business,?they have bad financial terms, loss of jobs. They posses most of the nuclear warheads and to eliminate threats from others they stop them from developing nuclear weapons.

how much money they are spending on this nuclear stuff , if they invest in other places, they could give food to hungry, job to jobless, shelter to homeless, aid to poor countries.
why cant this brainless leaders understand where they are going in this race of arms.pathetic
