I just ordered a jar of cookies from Choowy Goowy, at first the person I spoke to told me they don’t deliver just one jar and I needed to order more. I told him I had already ordered a jar alone before and that there are always people ordering from my office. He told me OK but that I would get my cookies in two days. I was like what about tomorrow, because when you crave cookies you want them right away, not in two days.. he told me he would try to get me them by tomorrow afternoon but no promises.
Seems their business is doing good and they are really busy, but I don’t like the idea that a person should order more then a jar and that he should wait two days to get it. I hope they don’t become slow like Aramex..

I believe that choowy goowy are doing some sort of renovations/reconstruction to their store ( at least that is what one guy told me when i rang them up last week). They will be starting again from tomorrow….so that is why the wait time….i guess. BTW nice job u r doing here. enjoyed ur miskan too. keep it up.

I think you forget that there are the ones paying for the transportation charge. Even though it may sound too easy for you but they are in business and want to keep making money. Imagine their bakery in farwaniya and coming all the way to salmiya. Its a 1-2 kd worth of gas.
yeah except they are in hawalli and i am in salmiya and you are paying KD2.5 for 12 cookies…
most places deliver to your home if your bill is over KD2. plus keep in mind you can’t go and pick up the cookies yourself which means you can only order cookies by phone and if you need to get 2 jars atleast thats 24 cookies for one person which is too much to finish while they are still fresh.
i failed to seek the logic that you pay 2.5 kd for 12 cookies.I mean there is definitely going to some other productive use for it. Besides, i have this tendency that food i cannot resist. I simply don’t consume it.
Farwaniya to Salmiya is a maximum of 250fils of gas .. and thats pushing it…
As for the logic behind paying 250 fils a cookie .. well, its Marks money and choice. I don’t see the logic behind flying to London for 3 days and paying 150kd for a soccer game .. but it makes sense to the people doing it.
forget this kuwaiti.I see my pals driving for 9-15 hours some coming from the south to north to watch a basketball game. Common get a life. Seriously ,in my books these people don’t have a life of their own.

I live in Ahmadi, I ordered Choowy Goowy Cookies and they said they dont deliver less than 4!
