Game & Watch

Game and Watch

Anyone remember Nintendo’s Game & Watch? I’m a huge fan of them and since its really easy to buy stuff from eBay now because of PayPal, I think I am going to get a few. Excellent condition ones cost over a $100 and brand new ones cost even more. Makes me wish I had kept mine when I was a kid.

Update: The current bid for an excellent condition LifeBoat Game & Watch is $399 with 11 bids and 2 days still to go! [Link]

Update 2:
Ok, it seems this is the second time I am going through a Game&Watch phase. Found a previous post of mine on the subject. It reminded me though, I still need a boxed SIMON game and a boxed Speak & Spell! [Link]

Why do you collect that useless junk?

It’s not like you don’t get bored of the games after 11 minutes.

I still own one ofthe watch & game. Mark, you reminded me of those sweet old memories of this gadget.

I used to have a Donkey Kong one… with Double Screens πŸ˜‰

But as I remember the liquid crystal was leaking under the screen and I tried to fix it by opening it somehow. It was not a happy ending, but I had hours and hours of fun with it πŸ™‚

Guys let me tell you about eBay since this thing with paypal is working with Kuwaiti Credit Cards…

I CANT STOP BUYING STUFF, AND YOU NAME IT…

it starts with one or two, then, check your balance ^_^

Ohhh my, I had all these games 20 years ago πŸ™
I love them so much, they stayed with me for a long time.
I think i still have them with no display.
Mark I say get the cola game. (Same in picture)

my mum’s friend used to get me one everytime she travelled but sometimes she would forget and get me another one of the same game so i had repeats that were not even open. looks like I had a small ebay fortune on my hands that got away lol.
my mum just gave them away to some stupid spoiled snigger kids who probably just broke them because they were “ya3nni used 7abiby”.

i used to have the double screen donkey kong II game and watch, but i lost it in a stupid park in jordan in 1996 πŸ™ as for the speak and spell, we’ve had it for as long as i can remember and it still is in pefrect condition except for the couple of keys that are missing. I’m not sure but i remember cartridges for this game, was it the batteries or like a kind of level/word difficulty cartridges?

i should check if we still have the original simon says.

WOW $400 for lifeboat in excellent condition…

I had a fair few of those things but gave most of them away as I grew out of them but would you beleive couple years ago I was doing a clean up and guess what I have Life boat in excellent working condition as I never really played that game I was a popeye and donkey kong series player.

I wonder how much I could get for my Lifeboat ?
