Help me find these cartoons

There are two old cartoons I remember watching on KTV2 which I can’t seem to find anymore. They weren’t a series, just a single story cartoon.

The first was kinda like a documentary about cavemen, and what I remember from the cartoon was how the cavemen dragged their wives from their hair and they carried big sticks. They also lived in like in apartment buildings that were built out of one big rock and each floor had a ladder that takes you from the ground to the flat.

The second cartoon was about this bug (I think it was a bee but not too sure). The bug wears thick glasses and they somehow break and he ends up getting lost.

Does anyone remember these two?

Update: I can’t believe this but a reader called Fahad found the caveman one!! It’s called The First Bad Man by Tex Avery. Here it is…

Update2: It’s moments like this that makes me love this blog so much. Another reader by the name of Bo Jaij found the second cartoon I was looking for. Turns out it wasn’t a bee it was a mole!

Here are some other old cartoons I found that were also great:
TV of Tomorrow
The House of Tomorrow
Car of Tomorrow
The Homeless Flea
The Counterfeit Cat
Big Heel-Watha
Happy Go Nutty
What’s Buzzin Buzzard
Field and Scream

Na7ool was a series that was in Arabic. This was a single episode, just about the adventures of this bug after breaking his glasses. Kinda trippy.

mark i remeber the second cartoon very well but not the name ,, it was one of my favorite ones and kinda sad too,,

I rem both Mark.

The bee (yes it was a little nerdy looking bee, with huge glasses) and it opened with how bees go about collecting pollen from flowers and i rem they were singing a song as they buzzed around( bees, bees, busy, busy bees, making honey all day long). The lil guy gets lost and lands up breaking his glasses. He can’t see zip without it and he sets off trying to find his clan in the dark and murky underbelly of the garden. It starts raining heavily and he meets a nasty badass spider who wants to eat him. The bees finally find him and then starts Operation Desert Storm and the bees’ sting him him till he’s full of holes. Bees 1- Spider 0…The lil guy is rescued and all’s well.

The caveman one is as you said, is a hilarious look at cavemen (the voice over explains the situation as it unfolds) as the varied life of the cave guys are illustrated , including dinosaur hunt, mating habits, life inside the cave etc. It’s a really funny one.
I don’t know where you can find ’em , but i hope this helped.

please do inform me on my mail [email protected]

“The Little Mole,” an MGM theatrical cartoon directed by Hugh Harmon in 1941.

The little short-sighted mole goes out every day to look at his “fairy castle,” unaware that he’s really looking at a large pile of junk in the city dump. One day a shifty skunk comes by and sells the little mole a pair of glasses (made from the ends of soda bottles). The mole puts them on and wonders where his “fairy palace” has gone, and wanders off looking for it.

glad that you got the answers to your cartoons mark, but i wish o find an old cartoon too, and i think you would see that too.

in kuwait ktv 1, they use to play a non english cartoon (i think it was french), i can’t really remember the story of it but it had a really funny theme song, where the main character is a wizard with a really long beard, carries acouple of kids on it, and sings: krik krik krii a krik krik kri, pala chikala a no sehri!

anyone remebers it? and one can help me find it?

Omg I’m looking for this song too how can I find it?!!

I’ve googled everything. Please let me know if you have

ah the ktv2 cartoons! i already spent a fortune buying the thunder cats boxed sets and the voltron ones…

My ever favorite was and still is Bionic Six… i remember KFC having happy meals with the characters sold as gifts… they were also sold by the old toy store next to el3alamiya in alkhalid’s complex… i still can’t find an authentic boxed set of bionic six though so im living on my old video taped episodes 🙁

i think you’re into Mgm’s TEX AVERY creations.
this guy created the 7-8 minutes cartoons , also created droopy plus other wacky characters such CRAZY SQUIReL. and many more.
also did i mention that he designed bugs bunny and daffy ! no not the shitty ones.

Anyone remember the one with bugs bunny as a clown? Could someone please help me out on that one….fucken hilarious!

Guess i got my wires mixed up Mark..bee vs mole…;P
glad you found them..we all grew up on those …
any 1 remember the classic ..’ “Ok Junior…bend over” ..and then he kicks his behind and it bounces off the floor.
The best one was the two characters ( dogs??) become fire marshalls in the forest and they try to put out a flame in a forest?

Hilarious…

Does any one remember the Arabic series that had a kid and a dog? They hit a crystal ball with a piece of bone and they would go up in smoke and end up at some imaginary place with a story. I think the series was about eating healthy. It had a really cool end theme. I remember the phrase al 3ql al-saleem fi jism al-saleem. They would say that every time they used the crystal ball. That’s all I can remember. Someone please help. I desperately need to know.

I am actually looking for a KTV cartoon about a bee, i dont think he wore glasses but i remember i think he was looking for his mother or something like that. If anyone knows this please reply and tell me 🙂

I’m also looking for the bee one. I remember it distinctly, it’s a bee not a mole.

The bee is going along collecting honey from flowers in a bucket. The art is very like 1970’s “psycadelic” cartoons.

The bee loses his glasses and I can’t remember much else.

However, there’s a very specific tune in it, throughout the whole thing, that involves a sort of “laa lala lala laaaa” of high-pitched bee voices with a toy whistle and jaw harp bending notes up and down.

I remember the honey was drawn very brightly and would drip all over the place. The bee would land on the flowers and they would bounce, act juicy and honey would flow out of them. It was a delicious-looking cartoon.

It was a single-episode series that was frequently on Nickelodeon during the Pinwheel show.

Thanks Mark for bringing bak old memories… Anyone remembers a cartoon where a kid sings kri kri kria kri kri kri palakila a mohtahari… Something like that…

Please let me know if you found it. I think it’s french but it could also be indian i dont know 😂 i think it had a wizard with robe and hat and long beard and flying carpet and some kids.

Does anyone remember a show like Teletubbies , huge dolls in the real world, where this one involved a forest (a real one i think?) and a very strange balloon plane… please help me find it if you know , i’m losing my mind trying to figure it out
