Je vais à Paris

I have tickets to the NIN concert that is taking place on the 22nd in Ireland but I will be missing it and instead going to Paris for work. I am disappointed I will be missing out on NIN but it’s not like I am getting sent to Dubai or Beirut. I’ve actually never been to Paris before so I am really looking forward to it. I will be leaving on the 21st and coming back on the 26th. While there I will try photo blogging since with my new phone (the E61i) I can actually do that. By photo blogging I mean taking a picture from my phone and then instantly sending it to my blog. I already have a software that will do that for me and I will try it out before I leave to France to make sure its working right.

update: Here is a link to my old photo blog, before I started 248AM and Miskan. [Link]

Leich chou beha Beirut??? 😛
Anyways too bad you’re missing the concert, et amuse toi bien a Paris! The city is great but I can assure you that you wont see a lot of stuff in 5 days, at least not the way they are supposed to be seen.

I think ur gonna have lots of fun, just be smart and don’t use a parisian cab , the drivers are rude, the traffic is terrible, and the fare is pretty high, Just use the metro , its great over there , i’ve been to paris alot of times and i can assure u : the metro network is great and cheap

Eliedh nothing is wrong with Beirut, but Paris is more interesting since I haven’t been there before.

MiRoOoOo thanks for the tip, I will do just that.

Mark deSouza, actually , not all the french are rude, most frenchmen who live in the countryside are polite, the others from nice and cannes are just horny , only the parisians are rude, no matter what language u speak , u just give’em the finger anytime they mess with u

been there last year. dude bring some food along with u always coz the food there is frickin expensive. try the chocolate crepe (nutella), its nice.. plain but nice. also look out for couples kissing on the road.. quite amazing since you cant see any here. they’re not horny but passionate. also, try the local wine. it will cost you about 1 euro for 1 liter.. cheers and enjoy!

Mark, when you get to go to champs elysee street (not sure of the spelling) make sure to count how many ferraris, lamborghinis and even bugattis over there. Usually the tourists from emirates, saudi and other gulf countries would go crazy in the summer there.

Enjoy your trip Mark and take lots of pics.
