Sold my crappy Motorola V3x and picked up a Sony Ericsson K800i, James Bond edition. So far? Its really cool but just having trouble setting up internet access. One thing is for sure though, I am never going back to Motorola. The phone cost me KD120.

Would the silver cover scrach easly? , so far the black one servived my abuse and the scree/cover remain scrach free after 4 months of service
I have a black one too. The silver one looks the worst in my opinion. The brown one is cool.
I have used the phone for like half a year, and i can say that its pretty much scratch-free, except for the lens cover. That cover is a scratch magnet. Also the number pad has some kind of thin transparent coating, which is peeling off at the moment at the most pressed buttons.
Hows the james bond edition different than the standard phone?

Hamad: You know behind Salhiya there is a parking complex (behind the mosque) which has Awladouna store. Well in the ground floor over there you have a couple of mobile phone stores. The one I got it from is called Mobi something.

Carlsberg, I actually didnt like the black or brown one thats why i didnt get the K800 until now. The silver to me looks the best. extra features? nothing useful, just a bunch of james bond themes, the trailer, theme song and james bond box. nothing special really.

I wanna buy one without the arabic letters on the keypad
when I bought my W810i a while ago it didnt have arabic letters which made the keypad look less crowded…any idea on where can i find arabicletter-less K800???

Well KD120 for what exactly ? if that price was with out Memory card then it is TOO mcuh if yes then it must be with 512mb memory.

I got this phone as well and I had trouble setting up the god damn GPRS, The MTC Helpdesk told me I’d have to go to my dealer and he’ll hook me up. I asked him to send me any sony ericsson GPRS Settings template and he did. All I did on my part was go to settings -> Connectivity -> Internet Settings -> Internet Profile -> New profile -> Name It mark or something and use the GPRS settings he sent you, youll be able to pick it out from the list.
frankom 120 for just the phone no memory card. cheapest price i found, everywhere else i found it for KD125. A friend got the same one yesterday with 512mb card for KD132

ŁI traded my Nokia 9300 for 40 KD’s and got a 1 Day old used K800i for 120. That was 4 months ago.
Frankom I found K800s that cheap and even one place for KD115, but they werent the limited edition james bond one, they were the regular black or chocolate versions.
Screw the warranty .. they’ll always blame you if any thing go’s wrong.
hey, i bought one of these in december. since i live in the States (k800i not available here), i had to spring for it in Chinatown here in new york! It’s made me a baller, for sure! comments are mostly about its price: quit hating on this piece of magic!
