Badminton
So recently I started playing badminton with a friend with IBAK (Indian Badminton Association – Kuwait) and I’m not that great. So I’m looking for a private trainer, if anyone knows of one let me know.
Skateboarding
I also recently fell in love with a skateboard (pictured on top) and I bought it. I’ve been wanting to skateboard ever since I was a kid but never got the chance to so if any skateboarder here is willing to give me some private lessons as well, let me know.

Dude you dont need an instructor to learn how to skate. Just putting the time in will teach you way more than an instructor ever could. You stand with whatever lead leg you snowboard with, then push. Its really that simple. Tricks are a different thing altogether.
What happened to Motorcycling and RC racing?
I am still riding, just got back from a Harley Davidson ride in Lebanon. RC racing not so much, sold all my cars a couple of years back and got the Sony RX1 with the money.
i thought i saw you @ ibak yesterday. There is a coaching module going on at the moment.. not a private thing but highly useful for beginners

I spoke to Chandru regarding coaching but their timings conflict either with my crossfit or with my badminton time. so i’m looking for something earlier or later.

Mark, just look for Jabbar in IBAK, he’s a great badminton player & instructor and very popular in badminton community here in Kuwait.
I remember when extreme sports in salmiya used to sell skateboards they had a guy’s number that would teach, but this was long time ago. About 8 years to be exact lol.
As for the badminton I don’t know any coaches, but buying a book is definitely helpful.
I also to used play badminton a bit, I noticed that when I added squash to my training my badminton improved quite significantly…

Hey Mark, just drop by the Marina Basketball courts in the evenings. Lots of skateboarders there, sure enough you could pick up something from them. There isn’t a need to get a trainer for something like this 🙂
