So they roam in pair to pastime with each other…

Security was increased before also, it is increased again.

Rather than security people should have sense and fear which is losing day by day, because judiciary has become a joke in Kuwait…

“Hey look traffic police, Friend get down they wunt understand we are childhood buddies going for shopping”

Awesome, maybe their presence will make people think twice before doing anything, even if they were inefficient as some think.

I love jobs that get you to ride stuff like that for legit reason, but you know when he’s alone, in his mind he’s going “wheeeeee”. I would.

i heard that they where just there because of the john kerry visit to the avenues.

hope what i heard is wrong.

only in kuwait….
wanna walk??? nah.. walking is overrated… lets roll on our scooters..
but what happens if the perp uses the stairs…

it is easy to go to a particular spot in the avenues in case of an emergency with this vehicle than running since this vehicle will be faster and since it has sirens, people can move away.

and about the escalator, when the cop reaches the escalator, he will abandon his vehicle and run to the perpetrator.

and can you walk all day around the avenues? wouldn’t you get tired? an active cop is better than a tired cop and personally i think this is a pretty good idea.

i have been reading this blog since 2007, and trust me, some people aren’t always sarcastic about stuff. ever since the crackdown on illegal expats in kuwait, expatriates in general whine about anything kuwaiti. i have no idea why they do that, i am an expatriate myself, born and raised here. i owe a lot to this country and you could atleast show some respect to the country although i myself do not agree with certain aspects, a lot of people don’t. a law in a country is made in favour to welfare of the people, and i guess a lot of people won’t understand that.

yeah, this was a rant.

I used to live in Kuwait as well. Now I just visit, and the more I stay, the more I realise how primitive this country can be. A friend of mine employs a Bangladeshi lady to come clean his house every Tuesday and she is on some type 20 Visa which does not allow her to leave her house at all, except with her sponsor… that to me, is slavery. What is more, you are not covered by your employer, you can’t get pension like expatriats do in Europe, and God forbid, if you get ill and are unable to work, it is up to you to bugger off back where you came from. Not to mention the differences between Kuwaiti and expat salaries. My parents are both doctors, and they get two to three times less than a Kuwaiti doctor 20 years younger… such discrimination does not exist anywhere else. And that is why we and many other people choose to leave. Kuwaitis becoming a bit like Saudi now. aaaand, rant over 🙂

None of this is new though. Also most countries don’t treat foreigners too great, the difference is that in most countries you have the chance to become a local.

Ask all the students in the US who don’t get a Social Security ID and randomly get rejected on an extension of their student visa for security concerns 🙂

Hey genius I didn’t accuse Mark of stealing anything as the posts I refer to are submitted by other people to Mark, not that he’s stealing them and it was being sarcastic not an accusation. But hey, thanks for the publicity!

Why do you want credit for a picture you didn’t take, drawn from a public site? I note you don’t give credit for the original photo either.

You do provide a link so I guess we could go there and work out the source.

So a repost is OK but a re repost credit where credit is due…..

Nope pretty sure the statement on your site insinuated marky mark stole from your blog. Now your trying to tippy toe through seblantics. Boo hoo nobody sponsors you and marky has cheesecake factory sponsoring and feeding him cheesecakes all day long.

Take it like you want it. You guys are acting like those little girl fans of Justin Bieber. As for Cheesecake ads, I don’t like The Cheesecake Factory and I have a job so I don’t need money from sponsors, that’s not what my blog is about. Now, if Mark had Texas Roadhouse sponsoring him and giving him free steaks THEN I would be jealous!

Those rides will make the cops more fat and less active if there is any emergency in the mall. Can they just walk and stop getting attention with those rides? They will only catch attention with those horns saying excuse me… Beep beep… And ofcourse to try be charming to girls.. Eeeeeee…..

Avenues is a big mall they should add more security or add more police in uniform (legit) and roam the mall not to stay in one area and just talk. Riding a segway is no use, how can they steer in a crowded area without bumping to other people.

Careful you may get deorted for crowding at a store without a licence or God forfid for being brown and smelling different !!!!!
